Not even that surprising victory that video make you believe. They have played very good at a time and they have practiced 60 hours a week for this and finally they delivered! 👏🏽
Ok, its not that insane of a underdog story considering they were top 6 team in the world anyway and all teams were kinda close level in top10. They were supposed to get in the playoffs (if they didnt it wouldve been disaster for the organization) winning the whole thing is the only underdog thing that happened here. If we talk real underdogs its like ence katowice 2019 when they got to finals. I am huge navi fan and i hope im can step up because he was the only player who was REALLY missing and somehow even without him they manage to win. Aleksi is also probably the best mid round caller in the game and b1ade best game planner in the scene and it boosts that team alot, sometimes they dont even need to frag because enemy just gets outcalled :D
I would argue the top 6 before the event is already inflated and people had not a lot of faith into this roster after s1mple benching himself. But I get your point, thanks for the honest feedback mate
@@WKEYCS People actually had a huge waith in them in Katowice. It was the tournament they should have been conteders od winning. Finally they peaked in the major.
Do you guys remember Liquid S1mple? The only reason the team kept him for ONLY THREE MONTHS was behavioral issues. The same goes for the teams he was in before. Hellraisers dropped him after 3 months, Flipside Tactics dropped him after 3 months, they all wanted him for his star potential and they all dropped the CSGOAT within a year. three MAJOR TEAMS IN A SINGLE YEAR. Na'Vi winning the Major without Simple and everyone showing up tells me and probably most of the community S1mple was the problem all along. S1mple has always been toxic inside and outside of the server. Every team he plays in HAS TO revolve around him. You can even see this stuff in his streams. When a single player on his team says no to something S1mple wants he starts acting like a little kid. That's exactly how he acts in his professional teams too. He alone dictates how a team is performing and acting in and outside the server. When S1mple has a bad day, everyone has a bad day. I am quite sure Na'Vi isn't going to bring him back onto the active roster since Wonderful is just as reliable, and strong as S1mple. And to top it all off, Wonderful is a rather happy young man meaning there's no toxicity running the team anymore. I honestly find the fact Na'Vi has kept S1mple around for 7 years astonishing especially given the issues he had caused with Blad3 and a handful of previous team mates (Seized and Guardian mostly)
I am not totally disagreeing with you, and thanks for the comment. I still believe he changed over time a lot into a better teammeate after his early days in Navi. In my books the team that won the major with boombl4 had the chance to actually dominate the scene, but the war came between it. So we will never know..
@@WKEYCS You can see how much S1mple affects his team mate in basically EVERY match. When he smiles the rest smiles. HE finds himself better than he actually is and it has been showing for a while :/
At the same time, even today, staying more than 1 year in a Tier 1 team is a rare occurence and is usually something only great players manage to do. That's why everyone switches teams often and many players have to resort to tier 2 teams because they cant perform long enough in the tier 1. Then yeah you got the average faceit sperg to makes it to the tier 1 and cant behave properly and gets himself kicked from most teams lol
not sure, but from what i heard, some players didn't want to play with him because he was so toxic, but he was carrying so hard that they couldn't kick him. then there was a time where he was talking with navi players on a lan event (when he still was in liquid) and i think there he made some connections. and he wasn't kicked, but he left on his own. can't remember the source exactly but i think it was a reflections episode from thorin with either nitro or hiko.
@@lx6381 He "left Liquid on his own" When in reality he has MAJOR ISSUES with Adren who was IGLing the team back then. The only reason they managed to work together for three months is because Hiko was a mediator. S1mple was one of the reasons why AdreN decided to quit playing competitively. S1mple's toxicity is super problematic but he's just too good to let go so Na'Vi kept him around
He never had a curse he's a good player but was always overrated since his one-time wonder feat at Ence, people put too much pressure on him the minute he left Ence so it appeared like he ''struggled'' but you can replace him with any faceit 10 autist as IGL and you wouldn't notice the difference. He also has a lot of contacts in the tier 1 scene, after so many failures a player will have to play Tier 2 and even Tier 3 but he always kept signing with the big names because he had plugs in many places as many of the OGs of the scene know him well and they tend to back each other which is why the tier 1 scene is closed off even to better players. This time around in NAVI he got carried by JL all the way to the final especially as other teams all lost form and arrived at the major exhausted from the qualifiers. With that said im happy he won it, if anyone deserved it this major it's him and NAVI, everyone else played like dog shit and barely tried to win.
teamwork makes the dreamwork
Yes! Finally a video that is not about was it a fluke or somehow putting the achievement in a bad light. They got there beat Faze and won!
It was a great run, one of the best majors ever imo
