The best part for me with 10 versus 10 was that the entire map gets used in almost all the games. Nothing frustrates me more when every game in 7v7 everybody goes to the same side of the map every time. I have to believe the map designers must be pulling their hair out and saying why do we waste all of our time trying to make an entire map for everyone to use but in almost 80% of the games that are played only 1/3rd of the map is used.
10 v 10 really improved the game balance. With the new engine coming some expansion of the maps maybe helpful but not so much as to turn it into pc. I would like to see this become the main battle mode.
I agree...loved the 10v10 mode. As far as map size goes, just keep the bigger maps in the 10v10. There are plenty of maps that work really well in that mode, including some maps that people currently hate in the 7v7, but work well in 10v10.
I haven't played Blitz in months. When you mentioned there were a couple reasons why 10v10 must be kept, I immediately thought "less rushing" and "better utilization of the map sizes/dynamics." It's great to hear that you found the same things from actually playing it!
10 v 10 was fun and all. But i felt like we needed bigger maps ONLY for this game mode. Those small maps were horrible. So many players yoloing and rushing in. However, that being said, i do believe WG was using this game mode as a live test to possibly bring this permanently into blitz. So yea i agree. It should be kept.
What I realised was that once the Yoloers yoloed and died, there were still enough players left to put on a competitive match. I think it made bad teams a bit more bearable.
I've heard a lot of players online and also in my clan complain about the 10 vs 10. But I completely agree with you. I fight quite often in medium tanks and in normal mode I'm often on my own against multiple opponents. The chance of being overwhelmed is much bigger than when you have 2 vs 3 on 1 flank for example. I also found the fights much more balanced. Of course you had some less good ones, but because of the rest of your teammates you didn't notice that much. What I also noticed was that far fewer players got above 4k damage.
I hadn't played the game for a few months. I jumped on and played 10 vs 10 and it was great. It was much better game play. It actually made the different tank types play mostly the way they are supposed to play. As far as the price of the new tank no way I'm paying that much money for a digital thing.
Preach!!!! 7v7 feels dreadful after playing hundreds of 10v10 games. Fewer one-sided stomps and many more chances to recover a game when the monkeys on your team blow up in the first 30 seconds. In 7v7, if you lose a tank or two early, sometimes there is no recovering from that cause the enemy just pushes into you and your team can't fill enough positions to hold them off.
Yes. It is very nice . It makes the medium and light tanks more relevant, especially late game situations. The only 2 things that are annoying; are the Sheridan missiles ( every game has minimum 2 on each side ) . And when there are 3 or 4 tanks together, many I diots are blocking retreat or are driving just in front of you , blocking your shot. Other than that, it is a breath of fresh air into the game, also it makes 7 vs 7 obsolete.
I agree about the splitting of team pushes not being such a big deal in 10v10. At first I would be concerned noticing that four of my team decided to flank, but with so many tanks, it was actually a good thing. The battles developed in ways that were different than usual. Rotations could be more effective, and it was much easier to catch reds not looking at you with a smart rotation, as there were more tanks to keep them distracted.
I'm with ya. It's the best game mode they have, and it's not permanent. That's just crazy. The sadest part is now the 7 v 7 feels slow, and I won't play standard battles with uprising going at the moment, as that was the best game mode until 10 v 10 was introduced. 10 v 10 will be great when they make it permanent, and you know it too. So do they, they're not completely stupid
I cannot agree with you more about 10 v10. It fixes all the issues I’ve had with the 7v7 mode for a long time. It was very enjoyable and I can’t wait for it to return, hopefully for good.
I struggled 10v10 in NA because all my meds and lights would run away from trouble and try to snipe from the back. I primarily play meds and lights and would just get left holding a ridge alone.
I think the way the mode was introduced wasn't great. The 200 kill quest had players yoloing/blocking/stealing kills and took away from actually savoring the game mode. After the quest was over, I really got to enjoy 10v10.
I think 10 v 10 needs to be standard. The games become more engaging and you are always doing something! Believe it or not in my e25 you would think it’s bad for it bc the map is small but hell I’m shooting left and right and it’s so much fun
100% Behind you on this. 10v10 along with Realistic should be made permanent features, not just as special/fun modes. They both should count towards a better stat system too, rather than what is in place just now. Way too many focus on wr, yet it doesnt show fully your level of competence. You start the day off at 60% wr, you lose a battle, it takes another 5 or 6 consecutive wins to regain that wr...You lose .05 or .06 for a loss,, but only gain .01 or .02 for a win...So in effect, if you have a bad day,, you need two or three good days just to get back to where you started. In Realistic, you have to be fully aware of all aspects, map location, armour profiling, reload speeds, dam given and recieved, no rng, no minimap assistance.. That is a skill playstyle for me.. Same as 10v10,, you need to be on the ball more so than 7v7..so yes,, it has to stay, but become more relevant.
I don't understand why WG didnt allow big maps like canal, castilla etc for 10v10. The games are faster than 7v7 and it makes it not very enjoyable to play....
The 10 v 10 mode was definitely a great introduction to Blitz. I hope they cycle it through more often. You bring up a good point about the poor release of the LPKZ 70. I’m now concerned that WG will put out very mediocre tier 9 & 10 German light tanks, or even move the RU251 to T9 to match WoT PC. 😅Maybe you can sing a song to have WG step up their game 😂 Have a great day ❤
One thing that I noticed about 10v10 was it seemed like my average damage didn't really increase much even though there were a lot of extra hit points to farm. I thought that was kinda strange

Am I the only one wondering why it was so easy to go straight into a 10v10 battle when before it playing 7v7 I could wait for ages to get into a battle, I’m guessing the MM for 10v10 must be different or something
Regular mode has separate queues, one for under 5000 battles and one for everyone else. That's why veterans can barely get a low tier game because their queue is often empty. Fun modes and even ratings, it's just one queue and mostly random. The preferential matchmaking in regular mode only exists there.
Nearly won a 1v5 in my batchat, i think i might have played 10 games?? Sure its alot faster paced but I really think there should be bigger maps with 7-10 tanks, like they were talking about before 10v10, for 10 v10 its soooo hard to play anything other than a td or a heavy. But I completely understand your point. But I still really think there should be an option for bigger maps (they should fuck fort dispair and port bay off and bring BACK MIRAGE AND LOST TEMPLE FOR FUCK SAKE)

The only disagreement is if there's a 35% player on your team, there's probably two such players on your team, if not more, because of the wretched matchmaking. While I didn't have as many long series of lopsided battles like in other modes, there was an occasion of losing 9 straight, and most were heavy defeats, and it was due to WG loading my teams with inexperienced players. It wasn't even low WR players; it was players of very few games, which are shunted to the newbie queue in regular mode. I'd take a 45% player with 10,000 battles over 55% with 1000 battles any day. Or, over a 65% player with a few hundred battles. They are often the worst. Otherwise, the maps are perfect size for this mode except for 1 or 2 like Mines and Dead Rail. The true beauty of the mode is it does avoid the mega ambush and lighter tanks get to have far more influence. It's not just 50% more tanks in action, it could be almost 100% because you might have 3 camping. So you go from 4 active tanks to 7. Perhaps the future is WG make 10 aside an occasional event or something. Seven aside is such a staple of the game, and that skill is not diluted is of strong appeal. There were times 10 aside got frustrating because often your impact was reduced, especially if a strong platoon or a few players were on your team, or the enemy did send 10 to one side. Seven aside is the right balance, and if balanced matchmaking could be added, some of the 10 aside benefits would be negated. PS: No need for 9 minute battles in this mode either. Seven is enough. More tanks don't mean longer games because it's still a 1 to 1 relationship of ally to enemy. Only more lives, like in Uprising, increase duration. I found most games were over within in few minutes, and supremacy points really accelerated as there's more tanks dying.
Position on maps roles and does it help to keep moving on blitz? These are the things I’m still trying to figure out Some TDs I hold and win stand still idk sometimes if I start moving within a min of game start it is beneficial Any definitive answer Bushka? Thank you
I partially disagree with you because of the team compositions. Maybe if they limit at max 3 TDs in each team and same team composition: if one team have 4 mediums, the other should also have 4. and If one team has 4 premiums the other should hav 4 too. Right now, what I notice is the unfair MM, as it is now: you get 2 Souleaters in enemy team and one Astron Rex in your team. It should be one Souleater in both teams.
Hi bushka, I've used to watch you alot as a kid. I have invested alot of time and money on wot blitz when I was younger, recently I re-downloaded the game and the game feels different... The queue it's outrageously long, everything seems complicated. I'm not complaining about getting older, I want to ask you if you think this game is dying?
I've heard that I needed to transfer to Europe server as it is better with respect to queue time, unfortunately I wasn't able to find any way in transferring my account from Asia server to EU

PC always had a big problem (the clickers) as well as people who had that one good game when they stayed back and camped so that is what they will do for the next 40k games. O yeah and it is so miss matched in team composition, skill as well as the obvious imbalance of the OP tanks. It was (while it was good) my most favourite game ever (and I'm 40 now, been gaming since my 6th :) Blitz on the other hand was such a nice surprise to me (balance wise) that i took it up immediately. IDK what it is that makes players so mad but i can only imagine how much i would be eating myself if i gave somebody a thumbs down. I think WG needs to let their community grow the F up and allow them to deal with their F-ing shit themselves. That meaning turn on the chat FFS. I think about the guy afk or suiciding at the opposing teams guns for a sec or two and sure it is annoying as F cause i do not want to lose the game but i do not want to lose my health either and neither should you, just laugh it the F off. 10V10 would be a great thing as a separate pub mode although i would probably make the game a minute or two longer so it isn't just a clobber fest IMHO. I’m sorry but most of the battles that I’ve played in 10vs10 are one-sided, none are close and mm you are still playing with people who have less than 1000 battles and 40%ers. I like the concept but some bugs need to be worked out
Old man you have lost it. PC is far more strategic and a thinking mans game. Light tanks have a role, maps are large, theres no color skining of weak spots, one has to learn about crew skill and many more thing. In blitz its all about stompping and crushing like a bunch of lunatics. Snap of a finger the game is over.

I had a lot of fun in 10v10. I played some 7v7 games during that time and i got the full NA experience. The iPad nearly became a frisbee.

Enjoyed this mode a lot. Did not have to worry about win rate etc.. Was able to get in a battle almost immediately - no wait. Bring it back please.

People get so distracted, you can farm a lot of damage if you wait for them to choose a different target
Another thing is queue time, that can be solved by cross-server MM.

Only probelm is getting in a game where theres 2 triple platoons of death stars not a nice experience

I think WG needs to let their community grow the F up and allow them to deal with their F-ing shit themselves. That meaning turn on the chat FFS.
I think about the guy afk or suiciding at the opposing teams guns for a sec or two and sure it is annoying as F cause i do not want to lose the game but i do not want to lose my health either and neither should you, just laugh it the F off.
10V10 would be a great thing as a separate pub mode although i would probably make the game a minute or two longer so it isn't just a clobber fest IMHO.

I’m sorry but most of the battles that I’ve played in 10vs10 are one-sided, none are close and mm you are still playing with people who have less than 1000 battles and 40%ers. I like the concept but some bugs need to be worked out
Old man you have lost it. PC is far more strategic and a thinking mans game. Light tanks have a role, maps are large, theres no color skining of weak spots, one has to learn about crew skill and many more thing. In blitz its all about stompping and crushing like a bunch of lunatics. Snap of a finger the game is over.
