- Joe Pass with Alex Carozza owner Alex music store, I’m camera man Michael Vainshtub in NYC back in 1987-88 in Alex recording studio called «Sound Idea» we all discussing a project to make new record production using synthesizers searching for new sound, he also mention about teaching great guitarists like Larry Carlton and Lee Ritenour! But, unfortunately, project never happened, for some reasons… Then later that day he had fun playing inside Alex music store, and I recorded him on video! What a day that was, unforgettable! …look my other videos…would appreciate for thumbs up!

Joe Pass is my cousin and I've never seen this side of him so thanks for sharing. I grew up in Jersey playing his chord solos by the time I was seven and I'm still playing them now just a bit older but love to hang with Joe Pass fans !
I meet him in 1975 in village gate and later was taken lessons in 1978-80
He was incredible human bing! And Paganini on guitar, I was fascinating and still is with his natural God gifted talent! He was a good friend!🙏

this video maybe recorded in 1977, i met Alex in his store in 1988 ,well at that time he was 60 yr old.his store was one of the best in Mahattan ,NYork city, many famous guitar players went to visit his store
