@@ianwilson3814 the HONWAVE are very good. If you are wanting to inflate and launch each time rather than keep on a trailer I would recommend the HONWAVE T38 ie 3 with the high pressure floor 👍
Put the motor up, when you are slipping ;-) It can be really dangerous, when you hit some stone etc. in the water... .Always up (45 degree is enough) and let it down inside the water when you finish the trailing process.... Great Video btw. i have the T40 with a mercury 20HP Motor. Perfect for a small family. Have a great time always on water !!
Still not taken my honwave out. Hope to get it out Monday. Just unsure where from yet. Running a 3m air deck with a 5hp long shaft outboard so not sure how that will go.
It should be short shaft outboard on that boat. But certainly see how it goes with the long shaft. with a 5hp and I assume 1 person it should get on the plane. If you have 2 people I think it might struggle but ok for displacement speeds
I think you do it works to get water out when open at high speed I think at low speed when open water will come in. I must admit I am not totally sure though
Yes always tow with engine on. It is a 15 hp 2 stroke so not to heavy. I also wedge a piece of wood tied on with bungee and jam it in position to limit the bounce. Depending on your engine this piece of wood can be easy of difficult to keep in position. They are very strong transomes on the Honwaves. If you were going to tow a very long way you could take the engine off and pop it in the boot of the car. You do get petrol smells doing this however
Great video , and really lovely to watch
I’m thinking of buying a honwave so great to see the boat in the water 👍

I would totally agree. That is the boat we have when travelling with no trailer

I also now have the T40 with a 20 hp on a trailer but have not had it out yet 👍
I think the weight low down in the floor is what makes it so good. If you want lighter go for the T38ie3 with the high pressure v floor
This is the one I have with a 25hp Yamaha 2stroke, brilliant boat and engine!

T35 is a great size - I’d love a (lighter) airdeck version!
The T38ie3 is the one for you
Isnt that a one way vave bung? Do you really need to shut it and open it?

Do you tow with engine on

how does this15hp engine perform
Very well indeed it is almost a perfect match for this boat
I am plannig to buy a 15 hp yamaha engine for a yamaha 340 pontoon @@boatingsibbingandwandering3262
Do yourself a favour and upgrade your mic. Too much wind noise M8. Great video otherwise.
Have done so. But wont be possible on the 360 camera
