Thank you for posting this...Sprint car racing at Baylands in the 80's was a special time in my life...I miss the drivers, the track....It was just different than racing today...
I was only there one time as a little kid and didn't really know much about. Later on, as a young teenager, my dad took me to the San Jose Speedway and I was hooked. Ended up buying season tickets for the wife and I the last 2 years San Jose was open. Anyway, from the looks of this vid, Baylands reminds me of Eldora Raceway. Big, wide, fast track. I like it. Wish I was a little older then I was at the time my dad took me to Baylands.
