Hey guys. I think you missed the auto speed Max feature. That would actually allow the car to adapt the speed itself and will go higher than the speed limit depending on the road and highways.
Hey! We both talked about that after we finished recording… update coming soon keep an eye out for a shoutout lol thank you!
Tried it today to get to work and back. It drove like a new driver: going only slightly over the speed limit and getting confused when encountering weird things like left lane parking on a one way street. It was very confident changing lanes on the highway… more so than me
That might be the best way I’ve heard it said “new driver” feeling. I agree it’s not nearly perfect but it is a massive upgrade from the previous version. Makes you wonder what it’ll be like in the coming months and years! Thanks for the support!
Freeway driving is v11 stack. When auto max speed is on, you can see the system switch to v11 when max speed is a number and you can change it with the scroll wheel.
If it’s driving too slow on auto max speed, accelerate manually, hold the speed you wish for a second or two, and it’ll pick it up from there.
Auto max speed is great and will absolutely go over the speed limit.
Speed is slow on chill, faster on standard, and faster still on assertive.
If you wish it to change lanes less frequently, you can switch from assertive to normal or chill, and there’s a per drive setting to use minimal lane changes in any mode.
Gotta try the auto max speed - video update coming soon! Thanks for the advise and the support!
I would love to see you guys test this in the heart of downtown Chicago. Thank you
Video coming soon! Stay tuned!
I have driven with FSD to work this morning for the first time. And gave experiencing the same slow driving but then I dialed max speed to 75 and the car will go with a traffic.
I am very excited.
Very excited indeed! Can’t wait to see how this tech will develop! Can’t wait for full autonomy! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
FSD has improved a lot, with this latest release.
Try using FSD in a busy big city, maybe morning or afternoon rush hour. Or at night. Human interventions are still required.
Big time! We’re actually not too far from downtown Chicago. Keep an eye out for a big city update video!
@@Joe-Markus Thanks! Looking forward to it.
Nice drive thanks. Would it be too much to ask to remove the annoying bobble hanging from the mirror? Ends up being in the middle of the driving lane.
Thanks for the support! We'll keep that in mind next time we cruise!
Tesla has HW5 chip orders for Samsung and TSM in second half of 2026 specifically for the robotaxi.
So Robotaxi very likey by 2027.
Loved your earnest reactions. Thank you.
NO WAYY! that's insane! What an absolute game changer that'll be. It would literally make it difficult to buy any other vehicle besides a tesla... appreciate your support!
I want my FSD.
Nice 👍
Thanks ✌
Highway is still old stack, not V12
oh no way! didn't know that... thanks for the heads up. Seems like the lane switching is smoother now though
I've noticed this is ignoring "no turn on red" posted signs. I did report it. Anyone else see the same?
no way! I didn't notice that tbh - I don't think I've come across a no turn on red sign while using it. Ill definitely keep an eye out for it to see what happens. Thanks for the heads up!
@@Joe-Markus If you think about it most driving decisions can be made based on movement, shape or color (traffic lights, octagonal stop signs, moving objects etc). Speed limits on roads are probably in map data feed? I don't know much about FSD.. does it actually *read* text of any signs on the road? Inquiring minds want to know.
That's actually very interesting... I might do a deep dive into FSD and really research how it works behind the scenes. I think that'd make a very interesting video... Stay tuned!
The smart suman not working still
It’s still super sketchy! Video review coming soon!
