Yes and no ... because this sponsor isnt selling something good due to the fact that you cant boil down good books or complicated topics to the synopsis.
As Butua, try to get the Rozwi Empire achievement and try to destroy Butuan (if they still exist) which is the next nation on the list and their name start with "Butua" so it's Butua's rightful cores anyways.

22:30 I had a game as Austria where Burgundy decided to become my junior partner, I inherited them, and had the Dutch Revolt disaster ticking myself. I just moved my capital to Amsterdam until 1650 and then moved it back to Vienna.
Burgundy and Liege are natural enemies like Burgundy and France or Burgundy and Austria or Burgundians and other Burgundians. Damn Burgundians they ruined Burgundy!

Pro tip for the PU under france thing: if you wait and keep Charlie around long enough to beat up france and make it your vassal, when you reintegrate with the French you stay free *and* inherit your subjects, at the price of having your ruler be that of France
Butua: The Zimbabwe Brid flies far. Conquer the lands which have adopted your great symbol as their own. Modern borders of Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia, and South Sudan.
dauphiné is a releasable opm iirc. the french heir was called the dauphin because they were granted the province dauphiné, which is named after the fact that its coat of arms bears a dolphin.
That was awesome. Burgundy was my first ever EU4 game (got stomped before 1500). Now with about 200 hours under my belt, I can't wait to give the Valois dukes another shot.
I just recently updated 1.33. Do you have guide for the various mechanics you use? Some of them do not appear when I play. Trade league, estate stuff, province of interest are the main ones. Then there are mechanics like patriarchal authority, monuments, etc.
yo i didnt know choosing to be in a pu made you inherit all your vassals. i thought it was just the lowland pu's. that's wild, i should def try it in my next burgundy campaign
I tried doing this, but I ended up with an annoying situation unlike this guide. So I completed the Public Weal and then King of the Franks missions, got France's subjects, entered under a PU with France at the Burgundian Crisis and inherited all my subjects: both PUs and Vassals. But I should not have waited to declare my independence from France until the truce, because France decided to release all of the Netherlands as various nations, so Holland, Brabant, Hainaut and Flanders became their own nations. Not sure how France could do that. Maybe an event? I still have my cores on these nations, so I'll take them back after beating France and gain my independence. I'll be doing the mission so I enter the HRE before reclaiming my cores.
I hope that paradox adds a lot more alt history missions because lotherangia is just so fun, imagine forming francia as france, and when you do it will create a new culture group (french -> west francian, lowlands burgandy and savoy -> middle francian and germen lands will become east francian) on all controlled provinces following the culture and region
Question! Are you gonna go back to play countries that retroactively receive flavor? Like how augsburg used to be too generic but now they have an achievement for them?
so i tried burgondy, got bohemia as PU in the first 3 years, fought france, fought england, took ireland, took the goldmine of hungary before austria pu'd them, got under france PU used tricksys to avoid giving away land, got teutonic vassal, scotland vassal, novgorod vassal all with their cores returned. Now i am already 1000 gov cap (lot of courthouses) with around 1500 dev and 400 subject dev. BUT i still need to do my missions becoming a dutchy with 1500 dev and 400 dev vassals? naaah, dont feel like that. Guess i will need to grow up and start PU'ing the whole HRE.
I see many Burgundy videos talking about joining France. Is it because we can be independent later but with interest (making all French states actually ours)?

Right energy but badly executed. You want to declare on France with Reconquest with all the new vassals/give some of their cores back when you take Paris. Then fall under PU with France, declare Independence, annex.
Best strategy is make all VASSAL and abdicate Charles ! Simples, Sarvoy, Provence, Liege, ALL Vassal and annex. With favor, you make Austria or Emperor of HRE, have Reduce Opinion for Liege or your target in HRE.
Butua id a small country surrounded by Gold Mines. Gold Mines cause inflation, but we all know inflation is good! How high can you get your inflation as Butua? Aim for at least 100%!
Finally get to the dismantle HRE step, with a powerful Austria, Hungary and Bohemia as junior partner, and ally to the pope and some other italian countries. That was hard, but i finally did it, next step is Liege =)
