For anyone vulnerable reading this. I recognise it can be a tough thing to do. Know that: Just because someone is at your door, doesn't matter who they are, you are not obliged to answer your door. Just because your phone is ringing, it doesn't matter who it is, you are not obliged to answer your phone. If someone is at your door and you have a keychain, and do you answer the door, always put it on until you can verify who it is. Know that NO ONE - not even the police - are allowed to enter your home without your consent unless, there is a threat to life, threat to your home, or you've murdered someone! Bailiffs, enforcement agent are not allowed to push past you, or force entry in any other way - that includes getting a locksmith. Bailiffs, enforcement agent MUST identify themselves when asked. They MUST also have their ID on show. You are not obliged to talk to anyone, even the police, unless you've broken the Law (ie you've caused someone loss or harm) If a stranger comes up to you, at home or outside, and asks if your name is "x", Say no. You are not obliged to give your name to anyone you don't know and trust. Bailiffs, enforcement agents, police, any other 'official' are not allowed to even speak to you if you don't give your name. That's how POWERFUL you are! If someone is filming you, they MUST tell you at your first encounter. You are entitled to have a copy under GDPR, and when asked they must give you the name of their Data Protection Officer. You are not obliged to tell anyone your private business who you do not know. If a stranger approaches you, you are not obliged to tell them anything personal. A court warrant will not be on an electronic device. Always check your name, address are correct, and that it is in date. If they don't have the paper copy signed by a judge, send them away to go and get it. The warrant they showed is NOT from a county or magistrate court - it's from a business centre! and has no signature! It's fraud. Know what fake and real looks like. Don't even offer £1 a week, you've just admitted liability. You are not obliged to show any personal documents to strangers on the doorstep - not even to the police. Your vulnerability is no one's business but yours. These agents are NOT medically trained. There is case law, if an enforcement agent enters your home forcibly and will not leave you can hit them over the head with a bottle of milk! You need to tell them three times to leave, if they refuse this is aggravated tresspass and a criminal matter - call the police. There are so many legal and lawful issues with these two. The police can only attend to stop breach of the peace they cannot allow them to force entry or stop u stopping them progressing further into ur home. As ur vulnerable they have to ensure u are well when they attend. If u send a vulnerable letter they don’t attend and could of sent this back to the court also. For some vulnerable they don’t attend at all and send it back to the court or the council.

request body cam footage from Marstons bailliffs , also never never open the door in future to anyone . check they are registered as certified third party debt collectors if they are it will be availble online , then take the matter to court ,registered bailiffs have to pay an annual holding fee and if they are in the wrong compensation comes from that fee , , it seems a lot like they acted illegaly here , police only attend to stop a breach of the peace , request their body cam footage also as sometimes bailiffs drop themselves in it on police body cams , good luck
Multiple things going on in the video. There's a bunch that disabled people will know about, mostly from personal experience, and some other stuff. The only thing the bailiffs got right was that they do not need a 'wet ink signature on a printed warrant'. The world has moved on. We are in the electronic age. As long as the warrant exists in whatever form, and it is a lawful warrant, they are okay to proceed within the law. They don't need to show anyone any paper. They end up at the end of the video using physical force against a disabled man who has informed them he has MS AND has informed them that the matter has been settled. There is no excusing what they did there, but the law in England and Wales is worthless. So let's go over the basics for the real world. Don't open the door. That physical barrier is very useful for your self defence. Do not phone the police. They are worse than useless and will do you harm. Particularly so if you are disabled person. Like these scumbag bailiffs they hate us and think we are all faking it. Do phone for backup from friends, neighbours, and family. You would be amazed how fast badly behaving bailiffs can move when a lot of angry bodies appear. Do make complaints to whoever set the bailiffs on you and make the results public. Name and shame. Do upload videos where and when you can so the public can identify the badly behaving bailiffs and respond accordingly. Do take it up with your local MP and name and shame them if they prove to be useless. And please do share these videos widely so the entire country gets to know the score on how worthless the political and legal system is.

@Blind Justice and Common Sense - If I may add to your excellent comment:- Warrants for PCNs are issued by the council under a Charge Certificate issued by the TEC, therefore, it is not a court fine, but a civil penalty; The warrant had clearly been issued in error and, if those two bailiffs had a single brain cell between them, they would know they have to refer the matter back to the council; A warrant of the type they had does not authorise forced entry, so the householder had every right to resist Rent-A-Thug's attempts to barge his way in; As the bailiffs had been sent by the council, it is the council who are 100% vicariously-liable for their actions. The council must now be hassled to make an immediate refund of all charges and the purported debt and accept full responsibility for the unlawful forced entry and any injury caused. Cancelling any purported PCN is the very least they can do and would only be the start; When Marstons' senior management find out about this video and watch it, I suspect they will shit themselves. The fact the householder has MS is an aggravating factor and the alleged debt had already been paid compounds matters even further. The very least Marstons should be expected to do is terminate Rent-A-Thug's contract with immediate effect. They should also be made to reimburse all monies taken from you immediately and pay compensation on top of it as there should be something in the contract Marstons has with the council that Marstons indemnifies the council against claims arising out of their bailiffs causing a liability to be incurred. They should also terminate the female bailiff's contract as she made a false call to the police. That is very serious. A complaint should be made to the county court(s) which issued the bailiffs' certificates. Speak to HNK Solicitors about doing that as the bailiffs' actions bring into question their fitness to act as bailiff, what the law calls "fit and proper persons".

Yeah Missus, and what did you do before digital devices were available? Perhaps something called "a photocopy"?? Plus a couple of years ago the law was changed so the so called Courts, the business centres didn't need to get warrants signed so they could be churned out, but they must still have the seal / stamp of the Court. That copy on screen didn't seem to have that. I don't know if this video is from before or after that change in the law. And organisations have to tell you at the soonest possible opportunity that you are being recorded.

Why did you open the door? If bailiffs do not have a warrant of entry signed by a judge in wet ink - do not allow entry. You do not have a contract with Marston's so do not answer their questions.

Speak from an upstairs window only and keep everything in email comms as a paper trail. The police can only attend to stop breach of the peace they cannot allow them to force entry or stop u stopping them progressing further into ur home. As ur vulnerable they have to ensure u are well when they attend. If u send a vulnerable letter they don’t attend and could of sent this back to the court also. For some vulnerable they don’t attend at all and send it back to the court or the council.
Of course they could take goods on that day, they had a warrant of control.

request body cam footage from Marstons bailliffs , also never never open the door in future to anyone . check they are registered as certified third party debt collectors if they are it will be availble online , then take the matter to court ,registered bailiffs have to pay an annual holding fee and if they are in the wrong compensation comes from that fee , , it seems a lot like they acted illegaly here , police only attend to stop a breach of the peace , request their body cam footage also as sometimes bailiffs drop themselves in it on police body cams , good luck

Multiple things going on in the video. There's a bunch that disabled people will know about, mostly from personal experience, and some other stuff.
The only thing the bailiffs got right was that they do not need a 'wet ink signature on a printed warrant'. The world has moved on. We are in the electronic age. As long as the warrant exists in whatever form, and it is a lawful warrant, they are okay to proceed within the law. They don't need to show anyone any paper.
They end up at the end of the video using physical force against a disabled man who has informed them he has MS AND has informed them that the matter has been settled. There is no excusing what they did there, but the law in England and Wales is worthless.
So let's go over the basics for the real world.
Don't open the door. That physical barrier is very useful for your self defence.
Do not phone the police. They are worse than useless and will do you harm. Particularly so if you are disabled person. Like these scumbag bailiffs they hate us and think we are all faking it.
Do phone for backup from friends, neighbours, and family. You would be amazed how fast badly behaving bailiffs can move when a lot of angry bodies appear.
Do make complaints to whoever set the bailiffs on you and make the results public. Name and shame.
Do upload videos where and when you can so the public can identify the badly behaving bailiffs and respond accordingly.
Do take it up with your local MP and name and shame them if they prove to be useless.
And please do share these videos widely so the entire country gets to know the score on how worthless the political and legal system is.
This country truly is run by pure evil. There is nothing worth saving any more, the corruption and rot has infected every aspect of society, there is nothing clean or just any more. As long as we play this rigged game by their rigged rules, we can never win.

Warrants for PCNs are issued by the council under a Charge Certificate issued by the TEC, therefore, it is not a court fine, but a civil penalty;
The warrant had clearly been issued in error and, if those two bailiffs had a single brain cell between them, they would know they have to refer the matter back to the council;
A warrant of the type they had does not authorise forced entry, so the householder had every right to resist Rent-A-Thug's attempts to barge his way in;
As the bailiffs had been sent by the council, it is the council who are 100% vicariously-liable for their actions. The council must now be hassled to make an immediate refund of all charges and the purported debt and accept full responsibility for the unlawful forced entry and any injury caused. Cancelling any purported PCN is the very least they can do and would only be the start;
When Marstons' senior management find out about this video and watch it, I suspect they will shit themselves. The fact the householder has MS is an aggravating factor and the alleged debt had already been paid compounds matters even further. The very least Marstons should be expected to do is terminate Rent-A-Thug's contract with immediate effect. They should also be made to reimburse all monies taken from you immediately and pay compensation on top of it as there should be something in the contract Marstons has with the council that Marstons indemnifies the council against claims arising out of their bailiffs causing a liability to be incurred. They should also terminate the female bailiff's contract as she made a false call to the police. That is very serious.
A complaint should be made to the county court(s) which issued the bailiffs' certificates. Speak to HNK Solicitors about doing that as the bailiffs' actions bring into question their fitness to act as bailiff, what the law calls "fit and proper persons".

Any document coming from HMCTS has to have affixed to it the court seal and the legible named signature of the judge or magistrate. Plus a couple of years ago the law was changed so the so called Courts, the business centres didn't need to get warrants signed so they could be churned out, but they must still have the seal / stamp of the Court. That copy on screen didn't seem to have that. I don't know if this video is from before or after that change in the law.
And organisations have to tell you at the soonest possible opportunity that you are being recorded.
