There's something about the refrain that almost feels like a reflection of the song in Xarcabard. I don't think it's anything more than coincidence but it's interesting. Great job as always!
One of the less appreciated songs in FFXI. I think you did it justice. My time spent in this area consisted of waiting for NMs to spawn and falling asleep to the music. I would then awaken to a dead character that received a beat down from whatever NM I was waiting on, lol. At least it usually allowed me to get the ToD for the linkshell for a kill later on.
Thank you! Yeah, most of the time spent in this zone was admittedly kinda tedious and painful. I've got a new appreciation for this song having worked on the remix though. Thanks for listening!
The amount of time spent waiting for NMs to spawn for the four lords.... I basically tuned this song out during farming times lol Absolutely love the remix. Really sounds like an official update to the song. I especially like the parts where it sounds muted. Gives it some much needed variety. Very nicely done!
Great track. Very chill and creepy. I know you may not keep up on FFXIV news but with the most recent fanfest we got some more news about next expansion's 24-man raid content - it will be based on FFXI. They showed off the Shadowlord as being an important character, at least for the first part. I'm hoping they'll do something like tier 1 is Shadowlord related, tier 2 is Zilart, and tier 3 ends with Chains. Regardless of the storytelling liberties it'll be cool to see some references and fights made new again, plus I have no doubt we'll get some fire tracks and remixes with the boss fights.
I about lost my mind when I first saw they doing doing an FFXI 24-man raid series. My first thought was of Absolute Virtue, but they've already used him for Eureka.
@@Spaceroast No, it won't come out until the next expansion drops sometime in the middle of the year. And even then it'll be released in 3 parts over the course of the expansion. So quite awhile until it's all out and available. They alternate between 8 man content and 24 man content with their major patches. Upside, plenty of time to catch up to it.😄
Another awesome remix, Spaceroast!! you were my top artist on spotify in 2023 cause of how much I listened to your vana'diel albums during my time with FFXI - it was awesome to meet ya in stream and its just a pleasure to hear more mixes as time goes on!
I think I was one of the few groups of people at the time that actually leveled up in this place. I was a beast Master and I remember using daisy chain crab summons to fight magic pots/ robots and the occasional bat creature. Only did it a few times when every other exp spot was already claimed.
chilling in a palace has never sounded better!
Everytime i hear a new ffxi remix from you it makes me want to jump back in and get lost in this wonderful game. Love this, keep them coming.
Thank you! Go back for a nostalgia trip! It's worth it!
Love the mysterious harmonies and timbres. Super groovy as always!
Thanks! Spent a lot of time just on sound selection here. Glad you enjoy it!
Your remixes are outstanding. It's rare for me to feel nostalgic these days, but you manage to do it. Love these videos, please keep it up!
Thank you! Nostalgia is the goal here.

I noticed that as I was working on this! Interesting that it had never caught my attention before, but I don't think it's an accident.
YES! I needed this so bad!!! Thank You!
Thanks for listening! appreciate the support, as always!
This track was chill enough! Now i can really fall asleep waiting for faust to spawn!😂😂😂
he spawned on my head one time as i was heading somewhere else. ya, that made me happy xD

Ah the days of magic aggroing every Aura Weapon as you run like a madman only to find out someone locked the door 😂
Level Down...
Happened to me more than once..

i mean, how often were you able to even listen to the zone music because of constant pulls for MG or sisyphus, or dustbuster lol
Yeah to be honest I got tired of this song doing sky stuff back in the day. Enjoyed doing the remix, though!
@@SpaceroastI think a lot of us sky farmers hated all the music after a while lol, but I enjoy the fuck out of your remixes

Imagine Soken and the XIV team doing what they did with the IV remix and asking Spaceroast to compose the remix for one of the ARs :D
And the new expansion is getting Beastmaster..
Thanks! You're right, I sadly haven't been keeping up with XIV news though I'd still like to play it someday. Is this content out yet?

Thank you so much! That means a lot. Wish I had more time to spend on Twitch, but I hope you enjoyed your time with FFXI.
Happy streaming!
i think this is one of your best you've made, space. thanks for your continuing work. :)

We did level on weapons here from I think 72-75 before Aht Urhgan came out. To be honest, it was pretty painful!
Very creepy. Awesome job!!
beautifully done
Thanks!
You put out some great stuff. Any chance you'll do Ululations from Beyond/Arrapago Reef?
Yeah! I plan to do the Aht Urhgan remixes soon. Stay tuned!
Damn never realized it was a leitmotif of Xarcabard
Yeah it's similar in a lot of ways! It didn't occur to me until I started working on this. Don't think that's a coincidence.
we are getting a ffxiv x ffxi 24 man raid called echoes of vanadiel and im stoked
Would love to experience that!
Zipacna...
