I think the map may have already been made in preparation for the Firefight announcement, or they are easily adjustable. It seems like that's how a lot of maps are popping up so quickly.
Playing a bunch of rounds on this map makes me realize how unbalanced some units are for multiplayer Spartans. While Chief gets shield upgrades and swappable permanent equipment to deal with foes, the player doesn’t have many options. You need evade or grapple to basically avoid being one shot by chieftains, but you can’t at the same time deal with sword elites (who are all active camo’d beyond the major rank) without having a threat sensor concurrently. Also the spawns on this map are brutal, with chieftains and hunters dropping in right next to the player spawns. I ended up hiding in the hidden turret room for most of the matches since there’s no enemy spawns in there and you can lock the door
Exactly why I am excited for Firefight. Chief’s infinite grapplehook is a little overpowered in the campaign that it undermines most of the AI enemies unless it is a cracked up Chieftain Ultra with a Gravity Hammer.
@@mudkip96 the problem is with the fan made ones I’ve played, there’s hammer chieftains EVERY round, along with elite warriors and ultras all cloaked. And multiple adjutant resolutions
@@justinnyugen7015 That sounds like a balance issue in encounter design. As for Adjutant Resolution, I imagine we still don’t have access for boss characters like Balkarus or Chak Lok yet until the official release of Firefight KOTH.

yeah i think a multitude of lower level enemies tends to be more balanced for firefight
