I am still impressed with the graphics on a lot of 360 games even now, 17 years after it was released. It really is a great console and still holds up graphically to modern standards. I feel like the 360 brought the graphics to a point where there really could no longer be any complaints. Some of the visuals even today are really impressive.

Not to mention that a few of these run like a dream on a Series X. I ended up re-buying some of the games I originally played on PS3 (like RDR) to replay them in the Series X.
The 360 is so cheap to collect for. There's a thrift store that just opened up down the street from me and I stop in there every few days and look at what they've got. This weekend I picked-up Forza Motorsport 3 for $3 and yes it had both discs in the case and in excellent condition. Kinect Sports, Kinect Adventures all there for a few dollars. A bunch of Wii stuff too. Thrift stores are awesome. BTW, unrelated to this but been playing NSP Hot Pursuit Remastered and holy crap is that an awesome game. I can play that all day.Been playing on PC but I know it's got a release on XBOX One and Series and PS4 and 5 as well as Switch. You guys turned me on to Burnout 3 and that is an awesome game, but I think this one is even better, especially now with even better visuals. Even better than the visuals is the gameplay. So much fun. Highly recommended. I think if you love Burnout 3 you'll love this too.
Without realizing it I've slowly gotten numb to the 360 library. But taking a step back and looking at all the great games for it, I appreciate it..for sure hella system to collect for now on the cheap. Lovin the content as always, have a great week broskis.

Some mighty fine games there! This year I played through Halo 1-3 and had a great time. I had already played 1 and 2 but never 3. It really does play great!
Don’t forget, you can use certain 360 games (and og Xbox) in your XbONE/XsX to install the digital copy on your newer system allowing you to enjoy them without a 360 console. Sometimes you get DLC patched in like Splinter Cell or Star Wars Battlefront 2 for free. My collection recommendations are TC Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, Battlefield Bad Company, Stranglehold, Ace Combat 6 (exclusive), and Skate 2

@@GamingOffTheGrid I’ve been moving more into emulators/emulation as of late I have the super console x chili pc and it emulates all consoles and game libraries from the 1970s to now with the exception of ps4 ps5 Xbox one and Xbox x/s does everything else though with no issues it’s great for also for preserving my collection but sometimes there’s nothing better than the original game on the original hardware
There is Lost Odyssey for $10 which can be played on Xbox One. Hydro Thunder presently at $7 on sale now if you don't mind digital purchase. This one is also backward compatible on Xbox one.
Nice list, tough to choose with the 360 library being so robust. For me at least I'd take Oblivion over Skyrim but that's just a personal choice. Keep up the great work gentlemen!
I'm starting to collect for 360 now that I've picked up a slim this summer for dirt cheap. I played my younger brothers' 360 when it was current, but I was kind of out of gaming at that time. The prices for the 360 & ps3 games are so good right now, it'd be stupid not to pick them up before they go wild in a few short years. Though I gotta admit if there's a multiplat game I'm getting it on the ps3 over the 360... So far I only have Forza Horizon & Import Tuner Challenge (and I guess Madden 12 cause that came in the slim I picked up). Off the top of the dome all I can think of wanting are the Katamari game & The Witcher 2.

I'm thinking Gears of War, maybe Armored Core 4, and a couple others. I'll have to check in with him. That said, I've already got a bunch of multi plat games for the ps3 instead, such as Armored Core 4, RDR, Skyrim, one of the Assassin's Creeds, Metal Gear Rising, etc. No need to get dupes for the 360. I'm gonna try to stick to exclusives or games that simply run better on that console.
It’s funny you mentioned the subscription services in this episode. I was recently debating on getting PS plus essential or extra. Initially, I thought I would have paid the extra $40 for the game catalog but when I really thought about it I probably wouldn’t get my moneys worth from it. I already own a lot of PS4/PS5 games which will take me a long time to get through in addition to all the other games from different consoles that I have. I think if you own a lot of games a subscription service doesn’t really make sense.

Can’t argue these games guys and certainly lots of co-op love that Scott and Alex would agree with. I have yet to play Alan wake and I’m 100% judging me. Happy you mentioned Skyrim. It’s a phenomenal game. Also SouthPark Stick of Truth is a game we got Alex when he was 11 or 12😂 Parenting done right or wrong depending who you ask. Loved this instalment of the $100 challenge

True about Xbox 360 vs gamepass. For me the same applies to DVD’s too now - I actually get more DVD’s than I can watch, 3 for 99 pence… I’m watching them cheaper than I could by paying for Netflix, even with expensive anime box sets and certain TV shows, year by year it’s cheaper, and I own it. With my old Bang & Olufsen MX8000 CRT it’s actually more fun and a superior experience cinematically to most peoples Netflix TV setup. Some people are watching all their movies on a smartphone 😮
Cant really go wrong with so many combinations of games to hit the Benjamin mark. Some that didn't make your list were Darksiders (1 or 2) $4, Borderlands 2 $4, Conan $7, Dead Rising $5, Crackdown $6, Skate 3 $6, Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection $7, Rock of the Dead (if you had a guitar) $7, Blood Drive $8, Kingdoms of Amalur $8, Marvel vs Capcom 3 $8. I better stop at $8 and under or ill be here all day instead of working. haha.
With Skyrim you probably wanna buy the version that comes with the DLC. Can’t remember what it’s called though. Solstheim and Dawnguard are good expansions.

I've got the Xkey mod in one of my 360's with a 4TB hard drive packed with ISO goodness. Plated it for the first time in ages last Friday night and kinda forgot how fucking good it really is. That table tennis game is SO much fun, picked up 3 copies for a $1 each at the thrift a few years ago. Why the fuck not!? Cheers boys, great list!
I cant wait to see a PS4 edition, since like the 360 it is getting so affordable to collect. Recently got a dark souls, persona and a few other titles for like 5 bucks each.
I've got to tell you guys a short story about Red Dead Redemption! I bought the game back when it came out and played the heck out of it and was maybe 2/3 of the way to beating it before my Xbox 360 red ringed! Thinking the party was over, I put the 360 in my closet and left it there for a while year before one day, on a whim, taking it out and plugging it in. To my shock, it actually worked! I was able to finish RDR before it died again. Great game. I've got an Xbox 360 E model now. Got it new a few years back, right before new ones became hard to come by.
It's better to buy a 360, rather than an Xbox Series X for so many reasons, like not having to worry about having internet in order to play a game and the first 2 years of the 360 is vastly superior.
This is good timing already this year I’ve purchased two Xbox 360s unfortunately both are Loud, At least the black one with the HDMI port that I got will read games and I got a 120g HDD with it. Microsoft could’ve done better about leaving all of your purchased digital content available there, they forced a lot of stuff over to Xbox one only 💫 If you’re going down this road be prepared to collect physical games, for me it was wanting the need for speed shift unleashed games which are not backwards compatible Also your shirts are cool but when seeing the Raven shirt I want to see a DDP shirt as that will always be one of the greatest rivalries in wrestling 🤼♀️
Skyrim is definitely an RPG, just not as much as Morrowind or even Oblivion perhaps, not as much as KOTOR. Ultimately Elder Scrolls/Fallout style western RPG’s are a tiny sub-genre so I don’t see how it could not be an RPG. At most there’s only 5 games in its sub genre that are more true of an RPG experience than it, and there’s Fallout 4 is definitely much less of a role playing game. You can definitely role play in Skyrim, just not with the same freedom as Morrowind, and the quest design is more linear and there’s less meaningful choices and mutually exclusive content locked behind certain choices. We can’t pretend that we didn’t get completely sucked into Tamriel when playing Skyrim for the first time, unless you’d already played Morrowind.
I have a 360 currently for the epic affordability except the controller (which mine needs to be replaced sadly) but the games are still awesome though just recently picked up Doom 3 BFG edition for 10$ and Darkstar One Broken Alliance for 7$ so pretty cool pickups for a decent price.
I think there is a specific model that is susceptible to the RROD. I think a slim or elite is probably fine. I'd double check that though just to make sure. For what its worth, I am still rocking my modern warfare 2 360 console from 2009 with no issues.
That's a heavy $100 Stack of Games !!! Crazy to think how much play value can be obtained on past gens... we all always hear "Gaming has got sooo expensive, stupid youtube, stupid ebay, blah blah" hell I even have heard people complain about "stupid yard-salers buying it all" (I'm always hoping I'm earlier enough to be that "stupid yard-saler buying it all" hahah)... I am all for all the above "stupids" ... hahahah while yes its a fact gaming as a whole has got more expensive, but so has life in general. But a lot of those peaked ass prices are on of the the more talked about or 1st party titles and the few shitty games that had short runs and are expensive bc of that not for being good at all. There are plenty of good goodens as yall made out in this vid $5-10 bangs. And that's retail, yard sales and thrifts a lot of these titles can be common and a few bucks. cool vid ! Peace!!!
Both South Park RPGs are awesome. I've played them both through several times. Great gameplay and it's a lot of laughs on top of it. They are developing a 3rd right now. I'll definitely by buying that one.

With Skyrim you probably wanna buy the version that comes with the DLC. Can’t remember what it’s called though. Solstheim and Dawnguard are good expansions.

Bully is the only game on the 360 that I have completed the furthest. It's all engrossing and is one of the best games on there. Worth the money 100%

I've got the Xkey mod in one of my 360's with a 4TB hard drive packed with ISO goodness. Plated it for the first time in ages last Friday night and kinda forgot how fucking good it really is.

I've got to tell you guys a short story about Red Dead Redemption! I bought the game back when it came out and played the heck out of it and was maybe 2/3 of the way to beating it before my Xbox 360 red ringed! Thinking the party was over, I put the 360 in my closet and left it there for a while year before one day, on a whim, taking it out and plugging it in. To my shock, it actually worked! I was able to finish RDR before it died again. Great game. I've got an Xbox 360 E model now. Got it new a few years back, right before new ones became hard to come by.

It's better to buy a 360, rather than an Xbox Series X for so many reasons, like not having to worry about having internet in order to play a game and the first 2 years of the 360 is vastly superior.

This is good timing already this year I’ve purchased two Xbox 360s unfortunately both are Loud, At least the black one with the HDMI port that I got will read games and I got a 120g HDD with it.
Microsoft could’ve done better about leaving all of your purchased digital content available there, they forced a lot of stuff over to Xbox one only 💫
If you’re going down this road be prepared to collect physical games, for me it was wanting the need for speed shift unleashed games which are not backwards compatible

Still can't believe Skyrim is so cheap, that game kicks ass. I got the platinum for it on PS3 and I kept wanting to play it.
A lot of people traded in Skyrim on the 360 for a better version on a later console.

I just nabbed a copy of Marvel Ultimate Alliance Gold Edition on the Xbox 360 which is awesome comes with all the extra characters on disc.
Mass effect and bio shock are awesome games too, pretty cheap also

Skyrim is definitely an RPG, just not as much as Morrowind or even Oblivion perhaps, not as much as KOTOR. Ultimately Elder Scrolls/Fallout style western RPG’s are a tiny sub-genre so I don’t see how it could not be an RPG. At most there’s only 5 games in its sub genre that are more true of an RPG experience than it, and there’s Fallout 4 is definitely much less of a role playing game. You can definitely role play in Skyrim, just not with the same freedom as Morrowind, and the quest design is more linear and there’s less meaningful choices and mutually exclusive content locked behind certain choices. We can’t pretend that we didn’t get completely sucked into Tamriel when playing Skyrim for the first time, unless you’d already played Morrowind.
One of the last RPGs i dug into! Such a solid overall game! Cheers!

I have a 360 currently for the epic affordability except the controller (which mine needs to be replaced sadly) but the games are still awesome though just recently picked up Doom 3 BFG edition for 10$ and Darkstar One Broken Alliance for 7$ so pretty cool pickups for a decent price.

What's your opinion on buying a used 360? I know they used to have the red ring of death curse, dealt with it myself. Is that still a concern today?
I think there is a specific model that is susceptible to the RROD. I think a slim or elite is probably fine. I'd double check that though just to make sure. For what its worth, I am still rocking my modern warfare 2 360 console from 2009 with no issues.
Look for the Elite Model! Those arent prone to RROD!

That's a heavy $100 Stack of Games !!! Crazy to think how much play value can be obtained on past gens... we all always hear "Gaming has got sooo expensive, stupid youtube, stupid ebay, blah blah" hell I even have heard people complain about "stupid yard-salers buying it all" (I'm always hoping I'm earlier enough to be that "stupid yard-saler buying it all" hahah)... I am all for all the above "stupids" ... hahahah while yes its a fact gaming as a whole has got more expensive, but so has life in general. But a lot of those peaked ass prices are on of the the more talked about or 1st party titles and the few shitty games that had short runs and are expensive bc of that not for being good at all. There are plenty of good goodens as yall made out in this vid $5-10 bangs. And that's retail, yard sales and thrifts a lot of these titles can be common and a few bucks. cool vid ! Peace!!!

Both South Park RPGs are awesome. I've played them both through several times. Great gameplay and it's a lot of laughs on top of it. They are developing a 3rd right now. I'll definitely by buying that one.
