i dont think so complex and almost impossible code breaking puzzles weird story overall much like silver case sometimes and i doubt people will like the part where you run across for so far
Pookie wasnt there something like if the silver case sold well the sequel 25th Ward and FSR would also get a Remake? 25th Ward is getting one so I guess FSR could be next.
I agree. I still don’t see how people call the puzzles impossible. As long as you pay attention and look through the guidebook diligently, you can get through the puzzles pretty easily. If you want a game that has impossible puzzles, play The Witness. By far my favorite Suda51 game, as it takes the brutal violence and surrealism he’s known for and tones it down, creating an excellently crafted world with a lot of beautiful, layered, and eccentric characters while still retaining his style.
Great theme song to a game that's really hard to pin down. It's not fun. I hesitate to call it enjoyable, either. Yet I don't think it's bad either. It's a paradox of a game. I went into it as a huge Silver Case fan, and it barely even filled the gap between it and 25th Ward. You basically enter Losspass with the goal of leaving it. You get to learn about Sundance Shot, yet his backstory has discrepancies that further shroud him in mystery. You inch yourself toward the airport at a snail's pace each chapter, before something inevitably interrupts the journey. The game feels like one long, annoying dream where everything's just out of reach, and your body won't move as efficiently as usual. Even then, I don't think I can quite accurately convey just how maddening this game is. How do you even put this madness into words? If I could go back in time and stop myself from playing this game, I probably wouldn't, because it's so out there, yet it's tough for me to recommend it to myself, let alone anyone else. It's just a game you happen upon, whether you like it or not. You experience it, it shits you out the other end, and that's that.
This song actually played an important role in the game; you hear it many times and it becomes more & more twisted as you get closer to the end of the game. I guess they didn't included it in the ds version because they didn't want to pay the rights to mia murano or some shit, lol.
Just bought this game a few days ago, at first I wasn't sure if I was gonna like it but after the first half hour it got really interesting. I'm liking this game alot now, huge fan of Killer7, Suda51 is easily one of my most beloved developer!
I love this game so much. It was fantastic. I'm just still waiting on The Silver Case to be released so that all this makes more sense. It definitely explained some of the things that happened in Killer 7.
@@picasso27 BMJ is hacking the game, he announced it on twitter a while ago. twitter.com/BigmanjapanSC/status/1610358050040299521 Talking about it, we decided he should just inject the DS translation with a few corrections for the stuff that's outright wrong, but that's besides the point since he plans on releasing a tool to inject text arbitrarily if anyone wants to translate the game in their own language or something
@@ParadiseHotel51 Sick! I thought that was just a proof of concept thing that it was possible to insert text into the game. That was a long time ago so I wonder how far he's gotten into it. Is there any way to track the progress or is it a "it'll be out when it's out" kinda thing?
@HitsugiNerd indeed, I loved it when they made fun of it that humour is really unique. Must be crazy to think it could be nice to make characters mock your own game
That wouldn't be a bad idea. I know they modified controls for Pikmin 1 and 2 and with the popularity of No More Heroes it'd be great to see more people like Killer 7. I'm really happy to see Flower, Sun and Rain, and soon The Silver Case on the DS though.
I actually like the song in the DS European intro. Been looking for it for a while. This one is entirely different, though, I was hoping it would be the same song but in higher quality and without vocals.
@Tsunimoki No they ain't. It's not a remake, it's an audio play. The first episode came out recently, you can listen to it here: konami.jp/project_s/index.html It's in japanese but the guys that translated Policenauts are working on a translation for this. That's all there is really because I doubt we'll ever see a videogame project by kojima that is not a metal gear game, let alone a snatcher remake/Sequel
I special ordered it from neo amusement. Search Neo Amusement on google. Just send an email to the owner of the site, asking him if you can special order a ps2 copy of flower sun and rain. Some time ago it was also disponible on ebay.
This game could live a third life on steam. It'd be so hype to see another wave of people play this gem.
i dont think so

I would only play tye FSR remake if it had the original opening tbh
A.A.H lol idk why they wouldn’t have this intro unless the label of the singer doesn’t want it released or something

The first strand type game.
Kek
This game is so weird, I still have no idea how a game designed around doing math and tedious walking is my favorite game.
I love this opening and song so much
So you can hear it? I don't hear anything on this video. What does it sound like?
@@gabrielsylvestre3708sounds like peak
One of the best fucking openings to a videogame

Kinda like Lospass if you think about it

Xed51 probably because they couldn’t transfer this over with good quality

did you play the silver case first?
suda 51 is fuckin psycho, what a bad-ass! he should team with hideo kojima and make a killer7 sequel
I love this game so much. It was fantastic. I'm just still waiting on The Silver Case to be released so that all this makes more sense. It definitely explained some of the things that happened in Killer 7.
Remaster getting announced next week
The original is also getting a translation patch, though I'd prefer if the remake turns out to be faithful
@@ParadiseHotel51 Source on the translation patch, or is PH51 doing it?

Wow the PS2 version of the intro is vastly different to the DS one. Far better in sound, which makes it all seem less bizarre.

@AkutsuJunya I love how some of the characters make crack at it too. It was hilarious how many of the characters broke the fourth wall.
Needs a re-release
It has already been released in europe on the DS. The ps2 version will stay in japan, sadly.
thank you for killing my spirits
vocals by Mia Murano
@pie579 The DS version should be out in the US already.
(I'm not sure because I live in Italy.)
He is working with him on something called project S. It was meant to be announced after MGS4 but nothing has been said yet.
haha no worries, it would be kinda nice to have a wii port killer7, considering the only time you shoot is when you stand still
@joethetimelord lol, good job dude. Unfortunately, a couple dubious clues aren't of any help for me to crack a complex code of numbers...
I actually like the song in the DS European intro. Been looking for it for a while.

Este juego es tan pobre de gráficos pero a la vez tan increíble
@Scuro1000 Hours of free time and the realization that the code isn't nearly as complex as it looks helps.
@pie579 the ds version is out but i dont think its easy to find. im not sure about the ps2 version
Try google. If not ask around on forums or ask Xed.
the texture look alot better than the ds port.Of course I'd suspect the ps2 version to look better.
gamefaqs dude
@XEDagaPOD I guess this isn't coming to America anytime soon.
@joethetimelord XD I remember filling whole evenings and papers of obscure calculations when I tried to crack the very first code. Never made it.
isn't it just 0000 lol
it's the DS one U_U

are there any lyrics for this?
Way better than the DS opening
@seangames111 they are homies. so it begs the question why not team up and make a potluck of epicness
Lol I'm sorry. He is teaming up with Hideo Kojima and making an untitled horror project.
i love suda51!
and i want the game!
will it released in europe?
@Scuro1000 Having beaten the game, I'm inclined to disagree.
the music of the ps2 version is wayybetter than the ds one
This intro is so much better than the ds one man its not even funny
I kinda liked this game at the beginning. Shame it's actually impossible to play!
HOW MUCH EXPENSIVE IS THIS GAME???
6
Five.
play this game its fucking great, obviously uh, after the silver case
booo hoooo, im turned the DS version on and comparing them and this blows the DS version off the table.
探し物かい?OKay
selky
killer 7 sequel
NO FUCK NO.
And he`s never going to make one.
However he is teaming up with Hideo Kojima.
