@@JJohnston4Life Tracy Byrd I’ve really been impressed by how well he’s aged and his voice is still exactly the same. They all seem seem like cool down to earth guys. It’s my comfort music and they are my comfort voices
@@girlwithiceandfire I've seen him twice and I would say he puts on as good of a show as Chesney, Church or any of those guys without having the lights and big stage effects. He's a great entertainer. I wish he'd start releasing music again! Chesnutt and Byrd are by far the best musicians in the buisness and they both kill it every time regardless of stage.
@@JJohnston4Life I’ve seen you tube vids of him live and yes he’s still so good live. Simple and no flash just talent. I’m Canadian but one of my goals is to start finding the smaller venues these guys - esp Tracy Byrd - are playing, and just fly or drive down. Life is short and I’ve missed too much as far as live music.
I was a little kid when you guys were new and I didn't really start listening to country music until I was in high school. I have always listened to what was considered older country because of my grandparents and I love the stuff that came out when you were starting and popular because of the stories that the song told and they way they talk to the soul.
I remember back in 1991 when i moved out to East Texas and started going to Cutters listening and dancing to Tracy. I got to know him, dated one of his gf (Now wife's) friend and come to find out we had same friends for SWT. I truly believe he is a great singer and man that cares. My wife and I got married back in 1995 dancing to his song Keeper of the Stars and then 3 months later, I have a horseback riding accident rounding up cattle that put me in a wheelchair.
I love to see a " Tracy and Tracy Comeback Tour " both of these two artists we partied and helped with sorrows while I was in the Army during the 1990's. I just love the 90 country music and hope to meet one of these two some day. Love Yaaaa TL !! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🎸 I sing covers of older country music as we got to save the older country music genre.
I think also what's driving those sales up is there's still a lot of us that don't like the new stuff and we want the traditional country sound back. 80s and 90s country will always be my favorite.
When yall were in El Dorado You gave my wife your book and a TL Flag cap and TRACY BYRD gave her a cap and signed Guitar with words to Keeper of the Stars Thanks for all yall do
Funny story when I was in the Navy in the 90's I liked Tracy Lawrence music. My buddy went to High School with him and hated him lol. My buddy was a cool dude though.
Saw these two in Jackson, TN...doing show together...super show...had backstage passes...got to meet both and get pictures with me and my wife...super nice guys.
Tracy I am soooo glad you do this and I'm just thankful you do what was meant for you to do. Listening to you guys talk...gets us all to thinking about lots of stuff
So glad to hear 2 normal country music guys who know what is going on in the world and the contrived pandemic, who realize how the control freaks wanted to take over. Fire!

Hey guys. I met you both at Westworld in Scottsdale, AZ. My mom is Freda Durham and has a shirt company called Durham Town Shirts in Oklahoma. T. Lawrence she made you an Arkansas flag shirt and a Canadian flag shirt for your Canadian tour. T Byrd she made you an American flag shirt and a Texas flag shirt among others. I really enjoyed the interview and it was good to see you guys on TH-cam. My name is Teri and I have met with you both backstage many times in Arizona. Please tell Mike T. and Bubba hello.
11:43. That’s right. I love country from Bob Wills-all the new independent country music in Texas. Mr. Tracy Lawrence you have got to listen to this song called “Room with no windows” by Jamie Richards. “Love lessons” is a great song.
Great show you guys Tracy Byrd im a old Beaumont hand myself on Rayburn now just wondering what lake you are fishing.. both you guys are absolutely legendary!
as far as country music goes now-a-days it's awesome stumbling upon an old forgotten song and video from the 80s or 90s on youtube. the last one i found was Baby Likes To Rock It by The Tractors. so cool.
Man I’d give anything to be on that Bus with you two men. Y’all pretty much raised me in a weird way. Growing up I listened to y’all’s music a lot and kinda lived by it alotta times. Out partying I’d sing the music, I got my first gf while playing it it’s kinda like I had y’all in my corner growing up. I know that’s weird but that just popped in my head watching this
1.. YOU BOTH ARE STILL GOLDEN.. I WAS LOVING COUNTRY WAY BEFORE MY TIME.. I DO THINK A FEW NEW PEOPLE ARE ROOTS BUT MANY NOPE.. I SEE AARON, SAMMY AND COLLIN ALOT.. BUT MISS JOE DIFFIE FOR SURE..
TL I love these TL Roadhouse podcast in the New Year I hope you start them back up they are very cool educational and funny I agree hearing songs at live shows one you normally don't hear on the radio like for an example TL I saw you sing in 2018 and I got to hear the song called the cards from you that you really don't hear on the radio I listen to it off the album but one's do you normally wouldn't hear that's very cool I like how you bring some of the songs out from different albums that you normally wouldn't hear and singing them at your shows TL
We even had a drill in football called the watermelon crawl. It was a bear crawl through defenders holding a football and we had to watermelon crawl into the end zone lol
Just a crazy thought from an old timer, 52 year old, why don't one of you pull a play from the one of the new comers play book and write a song with your songs like Scotty McCreery's "Damn Strait" idea. I think that would be awesome if you made a song that included your songs. Mixing "Sticks & Stones", "Paint Me a Birmingham", "Time Marches On", "If the World Had Front Porch", "Stars Over Texas", "Alibis", "Find Out Who Your Friends Are", the list goes on and on with the AMAZING songs ya'll have done. Maybe even make it a combo deal with folks like BS, Tracy Byrd, the mash up collection. Hell ya'll are the current Hank Sr, George Jones, Conway Twitty, the GREATS of country still living, make it ya'll and we will LISTEN! I always wanted to be a country singer but never "took the steps" I regret it but still have Karaoke with all my favorites of the GREATS to belt out for a few claps here in my local! I call these guys my 90’s voices. Tracy Byrd, Tracy Lawrence, Mark Chestnut, Joe Diffie, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, and of course George Strait
