I can't think of a favourite part, that entire dynamic of each one trying to land a trick/line is very good. (Shane is looking handsome with the cop looking 🫡)
Dude for real, i always thought Shane had a very similar style to another skate that i knew but i could never put my finger on who it was. Now it finally came to me, he looks so much like Chris Cole 😂
Fav part was probably the nollie heel, swerve away from lil homie, to the kickflip front krook. Lil nollie back 180 out of bounds too was cherry on top lol
Loved hearing you and Shane break down frontside vs. backside flips--gives me something to think about for my own skating! Shane's varial heel was buttery too. Keep these coming!
Miss living close to Ambler, used to come here all the time! The bump to bar is my favorite thing to skate and it's so fun and easy to flow around in a circle for warm ups and put together lines, wish I could move this park to my new town lol.
Gotta love the skate bro banter and it’s awesome to see you guys push each other. Shane’s got the best trick requests too that manny battle was well worth it! Keep killing it Tom!
@@tomasta 👊 I always try to support my favorite skaters. It’s dope being able to see more of you on your YT channel. I honestly just like to support skateboarding. I had to choose work over skating when I was 20, and I always wonder if I could have gone pro. I want skateboarders to be able to earn a decent income. That way they can dream of being pro and not worried about being broke.
Every video you put out is always sick! You skating with you buddy and the friendship you guys have is so rad. That's what skating is all about. And shout out the Shane, dude rips. It's fun to watch him skate and his process. Much respect and keep the videos coming.
Crazy fs flipping up those stairs - nice work at the end of the sesh. The FS bigspin switch manny was some good work too. And Shane's tre up v-heel down was super nice. As always, you two have the best chill, good/old mates, slightly cheeky vibe - love it!
12:26 absolutely gnar Backside flip i can do to the left, (goofy) and straight rather far after trying, as for front side, i found i had way more control over height.
Frontside flip for sure I love that trick I’m good at backside flips too and I agree with Tom I’ll backside flip a pretty big set but I can barely frontside flip a 4 stair but I feel on frontside flips I can pull the board up a lot higher and force myself to jump higher
Holy crap I’ve actually skated that park! Nice ground, cool locals. I’m from Connecticut so I went there when I was visiting my cousin last year. One of the guys I met there had even skated Willimantic park in Ct. Small world.
20 minute video felt like 2 minutes. Time flew fast, great skating and your friend was good too. I was happy for that tre varial heel line he did. That fs flip up and sw fs bigspin manuel were something else. Crazy how you can just do them in a casual session.
I could always backside flip higher and further than frontside flip. Unless it was down stairs/gaps. I think it all depends on how much flick you have on your kick flips. People who got that Penny/Reynolds flick can frontside flip high AF. My kick flips are more of my ankle than my whole leg. Tom you def got the ill full leg kick flips.
Nollie heel was dope! Hyped on the “how the trick works” conversations. Next vid highly request a nollie bs flip over something on flat. Gotta be the hardest 180 flip trick to do high and good. 😂
I agree with Tom. I find backside flips easier down sets and gaps. But i find fs flips easir over an obstacle like a fire hydrant. But fs flips for me are harder down gaps and sets
I can still barely kickflip if you give me an hour, but I can see how backside flip over something would be easier. You get to lift up over the obstacle then flip and catch and almost 180 after that. The skatepark sesh vids are fun!
Enjoy the banter, but gotta love how Shane doesn't let you coast through the session. Hold the pro accountable!! I kid, I would watch 20 minutes of you doing 180s up the stairs. Too smooth.
Realized I missed the start of the frontside flip convo so deleted my other comment... I totally agree with you about frontside flips being easier, at least on an obstacle like going up a set. Going over something like a cone on flat I'd rather just kickflip like Shane said, but I feel like you can get a lot better aim for the height/distance of a gap if you can aim for pivoting on the nose rather than just trusting that you're clearing it. Same with going down a set, frontside flips give you more visibility on the catch I think. Backside flips are more of a one-motion trick that you either do or don't, not as much of a reach-and-pivot motion.
I’d love to hear your tips on keeping things fresh and getting the inspiration/motivation to learn new tricks. As someone who’s now skating pretty casually in their 30s it can feel like it’s hard to maintain my go-to’s. Did you ever struggle with a plateau, what helped you want to push past it? Thanks for all the content, appreciate all the effort!
This park looks pretty rad, it was -1 when I woke up today, can't friggin wait for it to warm up. Keep the content coming man, it helps get thru these cold days
Love watching you guys rip this little park would be a better spot if it had shade. My son and I skate here often. Tom have you hit Roslyn park recently? Old park but fun. Your videos are inspiring.
i really like to see your video every morning it motivates me to go skate in my little french town where there is no park lol, youre insane bro thanks for sharing this
I am better at fs flips than bs flips, but I think bs flips would be easier over something. I also have a few trick requests for Tom ~ slappy crooked grind and a melon grab. I know they aren't tricks you normally do, but it'd be cool to see you at least try them! A switch flip bs tailslide in a line would be sick too. Also, you have the coolest looking sw tre flip in the game. You should incorporate it into your skate lines more often. Either that or a nollie treflip. Your channel is my favorite YT skate channel. Thank you and keep it up!
Best bit is shane walking in topless, bucket hat and moustache popping. It was majestic
Shane’s like …”you are a PROFESSIONAL” putting you to work man hahaha
haha i know right, he dont let me slide lol THANKS for watching !
"nah dude, let it Rip!!!" - SC 😆
@@tomasta thanks Tom! You the man. How old are you? Same age as Ishod?
@tomasta honestly the banter and Shane pushing you was the best part of this video.
Love these videos with you and Shane. Y'all make a great duo, and kill it at the same time. Love this content
THANKS !
I can't think of a favourite part, that entire dynamic of each one trying to land a trick/line is very good.

"daddycop"
Shane with the ned flanders moustache lol
Switch back lipperoni
Looking like Peter’s Parker’s boss.
Liked in advance. Will watch on my break. Shane looks like a old school boxer.
"For the people" ought to be a new segment in almost every video. Enjoyed it!
your friendship is really the best part dude!! having a friend that can toss you laugh at you, mock you, etc.. is the best !
The videos with shane are the best
THANKS !

The skating is awesome but the banter between you two is the best part! That looks like a fun park too.
You guys are the best combo!!! Love u both, your friend is the most funniest dude ever, love his comments ❤

The backside 180 out of the manual was definitely satisfying 🤌🏻

I love conversations about approaches to a trick like you had with the bs 180 flip

Backside flip for sure up something and I'm better at frontside flips in general. Timing the pop gets me every time.
Favorite part was switch f bigspin manny, it’s something new we don’t see u do like Shane was sayin and his flip back lip was butter
Wish everyone a great day
