Something I've always wondered about djing a set like this is, how much of the track is a loop playing and what is the dj actively doing? Is it similar to having a drummer laying the beat for a guitar player? The drummer is just going and the guitar play plays the changes on top? Are some DJ's just playing with filters and others are dropping in samples, filters, rerouting bus effects, panning, etc? I get programming a track ahead of time, but the live mix part seems like magic! I really enjoy your sets you post here.
