hello. do you need to freeze or refrigerate the cream cake first before stenciling? Or can you right away stencil it after you re done with frosting your cake?
Stencil right away, you refrigerate the cream before applying your final coat, mix it up manually using a whisk taking care not to over mix the cream because it has to be firm .
Hey Chido,,, no I just chill my cream (final coat) in the fridge for 15mins before I apply it onto the cake, mix manually then apply my last coat. I do my stenciling soon after applying the final coat.
It a powder version of whipping cream called finowhip a product of Bakels. You mix it with either water or milk or both then whip. Ratio of the powder to liquid is 1:1
Please let me rephrase the video in the way i understood it, so that you can correct me 1) after creaming the cake with butter icing allow it to freeze before stencil 2) rub the stencil material with oil and place carefully 3) you can freeze the butter ice you will be using for the stencil e.t.c Am i correct

Dont gently mix your color into the cream, dont beat...I use gel or powder colours
Is it must to use fresh cream or any cream will do?
Other types of icing like work also and are much easier to stencil than whipped cream

This method is for whippedcream not Buttercream....there is no freezing involved just refrigeration.
