For the people that had difficult understanding, the Blue is the sky, and the Brown is the ground, the yellow dot and the 2 line that are aligne with it, is your plane.
Blue= sky
Brown= goodbye!

Facts
My tips:
If you want a good strike location, go to Mountain. It has no SAM, no hostages, just free kills. You can slow down to 200 speed for more accurate strikes. Only setback is after the winter update you can barely see during daytime with a closed cockpit.
Alternatively, if you are good at dodging SAM, go to Docks. No hostages, but they do have SAM. Strafing down the main road is the best tactic for getting money.
Instead of landing, just open the canopy, go to a high altitude and jump out. If it lands in the ocean successfully, it will despawn without you needing to pay the repair fee.
I find that flying out into the ocean and reset character is pretty easy and ur already in base in seconds
first thing i did was accidentally fly to the fort with SAM launcher and have to pay a 3k repair fee. 10/10 would fly again

The Apu is actually for speeding up the warm up like your engine you can turn it off once you wanna fly or it's like already fully on
What do you mean speeding up the warm up??? the APU (auxilary power unit) is a small engine that generates power to start the other engines.

the A-10 is muuuuch better than the old one, my probelm is that damn rudder. It's not impossible to do gun runs, but without the possibilty to do small adjustments is just painful lol
The problem isn't the rudder, it's the lack of a rudder. BRM5 is supposed to be realistic but they somehow didn't add a rudder.
They mad the A-10 too realistic, and the helis not realistic enough (In my opinion)

for realistic startup: turn on all the fuel switches both engines left and right do not turn on the APU then turn everything on except fuel test and lamp test

@@thatdevoffical_lspd4803 For "realistic startup" although it doesnt affect the in game startup if you do that in real life your plane won't properly start up and you might not want to take-off.
what do the lamp and fuel tests even do?

The plane is broken. It rattles on the ground from 150-200 speed which will make you divert from side to side into the signs. I've crashed it about 4 times because of this and doesn't seem to be a priority for the developers to fix this issue.
I got it off the ground once and it is very underpowered. The gun is terrible with a low blast radius and no Left Right control means it's impossible to aim precisely. It also has no bombs, rockets or countermeasures.
You'll notice there are only 3 places where you can actually use it to make your money back. The Radar base and its neighbour east the base of operations as well as the docks. The rest of the locations either have air defences or civilians. It would take you 2000 kills to repay your 50,000 initial investment which puts it way above the little birds 180 kills to repay it's 4,500 initial investment as well as 600 kills (15,000) for a good gun.

I took off and had my graphics to 1 because this was after a bunker raid. Could not see anything and crashed into a hill. 10/10 would recommend. P.S. If you’re like me and too scared to try and land out of fear of crashing, ditch into the ocean, full on nosedive it does not matter.
If they add flaps it will be easy to land and spoiler is called breaks ita use to decreas speed in airborn and also landing
they need to fix the take off glitch i always just start taking off and this like invisible brick hits me out of nowhere i then crash is there any way to fix it
You make it look so easy, it took me 2 hours to attempt to land and I just couldn't do it, so I just left the game.

miss the old a10 in third person, enjoyed the casualness of it. Sacrificing third person just to add a few switches to turn the jet on hurt the gameplay more imo.
BRM5 is practically trying to be very realistic so expect a bit of time wasten i guess.
was watching this tutorial and zoomed fully in the cockpit but i had no idea i pressed space while starting the plane. Ended up blowing it up 10/10 comedy shit right there
For realistic and advanced landings: there is the butter, the smooth landing, if you want to do this, you need to slow down till your at landing speed (150-180). As demonstrated in the video (I forgot 💀) point your nose down at the runway, then when your near it, then you point your nose up and your plane must loose altitude slowly, if it doesn't, then your going to fast, if it goes fast your loosing altitude quickly and stalling. Then the rear gears at wings MUST touch the ground first before slowly the front gear touching the ground. Then stop.
Thats it, I did not make a video so watch some other random one since I am not a youtuber.
you dont butter fighters/attack/military aircraft :D u just slam them onto the ground and stop as fast as you can. In some aircraft like f/a-18 if you try to flare before touchdown the system may not register it as you being on the ground and remain in in flight idle instead of ground idle (power setting in case sbd doesnt know that)

Slam it into the ground? That's coming out of your pay.
To do a butter you slow down to the point where you do a very slow stall, point your plane up then wait till the gear hits the ground, THEN you land the front gear.

For those who want's to land on the carrier for RP purposes here's a quick guide
your air speed need's to 170 or lower (A-10's physic's on landing makes it so it stop's Instantly
Make sure you aim for the diagonal landing strip or line up with the ship
For take off it's not hard, but terrifying for the first few times
When taking off, head as far back to the carrier as possible and take off on the straight path (There's a raised part of the ship's runway so you have to avoid touching it) After you finished the entire runway up you will fall for a split second but will take off once your plane reaches 200 speed thanks to the fall (Once again, weird physic's)
And here's some extra tip's when landing.
You can land anywhere your A-10 can fit on if you landed it with an airspeed of 160 (You can see how fast he stopped his plane in the video when he landed on 170 airspeed
When generally landing. Make sure you don't land with 200 airspeed since the game will think that you were taking off or were still flying. So you'll bounce around a bit until you come to a full stop.

I'd recommend using the cheats menu in a private server because crashing your A10 is pretty expensive and its hard to get used to

I think adding BOMBs and air to service missles would help allot since they dont have to add a bomber so maybe it could help but u need to buy BOMBs Every time u use it same for missles like Fox 2 and Air to service i think IT could be pretty cool
fox 2 is a heat seeker only for air to air battles and bombs will not be practical because there's civilians

Also i'd love to see a f/A 18 e superhornet for.carrier and also not because it would fly over the map under a minute . But in sure they wont add and its understandable.
@@f804.de.ruyter they did say that they are only adding "tactical stuff". Ik a10 is not really considered tactical but it is the closest thing to a tactical plane. I feel like them adding a jet fighter would be like turning the game into something opposite of tactical.

The thing is. I managed to save up to 50k, and blew up the plane. Now I have to save up 3.1k to repair it again

Every time I takeoff, I blow up for no reason
Flew a takeoff successfully, did gun runs on mt and desert for my first time back on the A10. But controls are new so I'm still adjusting. To not make your plane explode, i usually press S when I'm in the edge of the runway to successfully tilt up without my plane bumping on the runway.
Damnit after learning the A-10C in dcs this makes me pain because none of it makes sense in brm5 all the switches are in the wrong spot and in the wrong order and aren’t what they actually do

It's so annoying because I had 120k before the update and then when the update came I lost all my money and only have 17k so I can't get A-10 and because helis are very difficult to fly as they lag out once you want to land them I can't even grind properly.
Alright so after hours of grinding I get the a-10, but everytime I try to go up in the air it explodes I don't know how to fix this I am pretty sure its the tail banging onto the road and I can't fix it
i tried the A-10 out in a private server with RGE, i have never even played this game before but i could pilot it just fine and i do not see what people are complaining about

I understand the price of the A-10 because if everbody just flew around and crashing and greifing the whole game would be ruined so only those who have worked hard for the money get to enjoy it.
More-so it’s because the developers didn’t even want the A-10 in the game, but added it back at a high price because the community was upset.
I just took it out of the hangar after spending all my money on it, hit a sign, got stuck and tried to get out, exploding it as a result, have to pay 3k for it. I’m done playing this game.

When i take of should i tap s or hold it down?
Just tap it gently near the end of the runway.
If you hold it down, your tail will hit the ground and your plane will blow up.
Yeah if you got 50k for it lmao, besides from that nice video, hopefully they make it cheaper soon so I can use what I have learnt, thank you
Gnar (the owner of BRM) said that the A-10 was never a vehicle fit for the game and that they only added it again to stop people from complaining. There probably won’t be any price lower than what it is now, and if it changes it will probably go up.
@@degenrolls Mmm yeah that sucks, I mean smart move I guess on Gnar's behalf because most people will get impatient and buy the in-game money and then he and the other devs get that money, but then on the other hand like myself I don't have a choice because my parents don't let me buy robux so I have to grind for probably and hour or two to get 50k, but then I guess you'd appreciate it more, like if you were to build a Lego set yourself instead of someone else doing it.

@@nocturnal1053 I can’t speak for him, but it takes about an hour or so for 5-10k depending on how efficient you are. I can make a video on farming if you like.

Depends on what you’re wanting to do, if you don’t have a helicopter I’d buy that first so that farming will be easier but that’s about all you need before buying an A-10. Just know that the A-10 isn’t very efficient for farming if that’s what you’re trying to do.

if you are afraid of landing which i am sometimes leaving the game mid air will respawn it and not fall and crash quickly alt f4 before you crash can save you 3k too

I also had one of these experiences. I was just about to take off then, disaster stuck, I pressed W instead of S and nosedived right into the runway.
