Thank you Jen, just wondering what you would do if your bobbin case positioning bracket was missing the screw that holds it to the machine? I am pulling my hair out as I don't want to buy a whole new unit. 😂😂

Hi! First I would ask if you have a model that is just like the one I am working on in this video. This was a very early model and most other 99’s are set up differently. Check out my video on the late 99 here: th-cam.com/video/INUsEc1uL9M/w-d-xo.html You can see on the later model they didn’t attach it to the machine the same way as the one in this video. Could that be what’s going on? Let me know and feel free to send me a picture of what you are working with to jen@sewingmachinerehab.com 😊

Ah thankyou Jen, it is an early one, I just needed to buy a correct pin/screw that it was missing. The take apart video definately helped me. So random that a whole machine should be missing one small part! Really enjoying the series, I am restoring my very first two machines and they are both early 99s. I couldn't do it without your step by step tuition ❤
