Looking at this footage it becomes obvious that Parker in his prime was a better player, a decisively better player than Stockton. In particular during the playoffs where Stockton's numbers consistently slipped. Stockton and his pick and roll was predictable and no matter how well he executed it, comes playoff time the good teams knew how to contain it. Parker on the other could score out of nothing, breaking down defenders, being a much more creative ball handler than Stockton. The spin move and the tear drop were absolutely unstoppable, a nightmare to defend. Did Stockton ever had a killer move, something that allowed him to get a bucket when his team absolutely needed one? Seeing how Parker was able to disassemble his opponents I am prepared to say that Stockton was overrated.
