I have never made a 3d model in my life. In 10 minutes with this video I was able to download and install meshmixer, and add a base to an existing model. Great job!

@@SlicePrintRoleplayhey I noticed your model was solid on the inside, I've been trying for days now to make a custom brute for a game I'm working on and I keep doing the boolean thing and I can't get my model to work, it keeps saying error, not to mention the model is hallow when I take a part off, will it be solid when I print it?

@@entomologistmaximus5097 that can be a bit tricky. There may be issues with the model which is why you're seeing issues after you edit it.
Try repairing the file using this process. You can try before bringing the model into Meshmixer and after you edit it.

@@SlicePrintRoleplay well I threw it into cura and lychee but I didn't get an error pop up so I guess it's okay? Also thank you for replying, I didn't know if you would seeing as it's an old video

I'm not understanding the question. Do you mean like a support for printing?

Okay I know it's stupid tiny thing, but I successfully removed a base from a model (Arthuron Thief) and now I'm playing around with a single-piece model in Meshmixer. I want to learn Blender which is probably more complicated, so being able to do some basic things in Meshmixer has got me motivated - plus it looks like Meshmixer can do more that I thought it could.
Thankyou for an easy to follow tutorial SPR!

@@herculeholmes504 don't ever down play your accomplishments. Editing a model like that is an awesome first step!
Yeah Blender is a bit overwhelming, but there are lots of great guides out there.
But yes Meshmixer is way more powerful than most people realize.
      Keep on rocking my friend!
