If you thought it was cool what I could teach you in one short video... just imagine how much I could teach you in an entire course 😉 bit.ly/piano-by-ear-coreylennox Piano By Ear is a step-by-step video course that walks you through exactly what you need to do to be able to play songs just by listening to them, all for less than the price of a month of lessons with me. The course includes specific action steps, audio exercises, and worksheets... I wanted to make sure that this is as interactive and clear as possible. So it's not just watching a bunch of lectures. You're actually learning and applying the new concepts every step of the way. Don't believe me? On the "Piano By Ear" info page I've got real examples of people who've used my methods to play their favorite songs with NO sheet music. One warning: I'm offering the course at a huge discount for the first 100 people only... After that the offer comes down and the price goes up. So if you want to learn how to play by ear the most effective way possible, don't wait around!
@@donadolfo11 Are you on a phone by chance? Try using a desktop or laptop, I think I’ve had one other person run into this issue where the phone just wasn’t working. I’m still gonna look into it though!
@@CoreyLennox Hi, now it worked on my desktop computer (Win 11, Firefox and Chrome) - and I'm one of your course members 🙂. But the link still does not work on my Android phone, not with Firefox nor with Chrome, nor when I enter the Link-URL manually. May make you loose business, what would be a pity because of your really very good approach to playing by ear.
@@donadolfo11 Thank you so much for letting me know! You’re right, I don’t want to prevent people on their phones from checking out the course if they want to. I got in touch with tech support and got it figured out!
Absolutely fantastic question. I’ve got a whole section on this in the course; but basically it totally depends on the song. Usually the chords fall on the “downbeat” (the first beat of your measure) while the melody can have all kinds of different rhythms built into it. In other words, let the LH guide you. Just put your chords on the downbeat, and then the melody weaves around that. I hope that makes sense! It’s a bit hard to explain in writing.

Hi Corey.
Surely a song can start on any note?
Absolutely!
Hi Corey, it seems the order buttons for the full course on your linked page do no longer work? Course closed? - Would be a pity!
It should still be working… I’ll check on it! What happens when you click the button??
@@CoreyLennox nothing, no reaction... do you have a direct link, already watched the video and texts there.

your awsome
you’re a dreamteacher 🎉
My question is when you’re playing the melody in your right hand when should the cord drop in your left hand?
