To be fair, what Maomao is asking of Lihaku is totally insane She's basically saying hey, can you put your standing and reputation on the line for me, someone that you don't even know and has no measure of authority, for something that has seemingly no benefit to you and only carries the risk that I am trying to use you to run away from here That's why the other hairpins are so important, it shows that she actually is someone with at the very least good connections, which goes a long way to establishing trust
then again, Maomao is basically saying "Here's the deal; you escort me out of the rear palace for a while, in exchange; you get to f**k one of my beloved sisters, so what's it gonna be?"
