You didn’t mention relationships
If you really like pens, I suggest fountain pens. They last for years, and when they run out of ink, all you do is refill them rather than throw them way. When I teach cursive handwriting, I give my students fountain pens once they have met my expectations.

Hey there fellow third year teacher here! Really enjoyed all your answers. I like a few people here do hope you keep that same mindset being a administrator, because I know that all that stuff you listed would be great. However, we all know, like teachers, the key admin job is only a small part of a whole different job. Future question or video idea if you take them; how does it feel to be a male teacher?
I love what I do! Couldn't see myself doing anything else. Like you mentioned, there's a total underrepresentation of men in elementary teacher roles. In my opinion, kids need exposure to teachers and leaders who look like them!

I have a question does your school do a rotating bell schedule our school does it and it's so annoying. Do you teach Civics & CAR cuz that's my fav subject, and I do not know why but this guy reminds me of Korey Desoto.

I'm not sure inequity can be boiled down to "black and brown," as you stated. It's not "color" as much as it is "poverty." Empoverished students are left behind... and that includes white students living at or below the poverty level. "Black and brown" students that come from professional households do fine.
Thanks so much for being honest about teaching. Yes, we are underpaid, and get kick in the pants! How you afford an apartment with a teacher's salary? lol

I student taught at a title one school and I was not able to meet one of the student's needs and I emailed the instructor about how to meet the student's needs.
