- Having a defined forex trading routine is crucial in order to become a consistently profitable trader. Trading is a high-performance business, so your main task is to remain focused, make high-quality decisions and execute on high-probability trades.
In this video, I will guide you through developing your own trading routine and I will explain why it is so important. I will also share with you an amazing forex sessions tool indicator that you can apply to your charts. We will explore all different forex sessions and the best currency pairs to trade during each session. I will help you determine your trading window and make sure that you take a step towards achieving financial and time freedom, rather than creating another 9-5 job for yourself.

Great job! NY open is 8am and close at 5pm ET/ GMT -5. This was the info I needed when I first started. I still have to remind myself from time to time to stay on course. It is easy to get carried away.

I've used to be on screen 10 hours a day because I though why would I waste time doing something else If I could make more money. It turned out I was wrong.
We didn't make more money by spending more time in the market. When we didn't trade, we also avoided the risk to lose money too.
Glad you've gotten this realization. Less is More in trading. But it takes time to realize this. So, be proud of yourself to having made this discovery! And stay true to it.

Now with the tips in your video, I can work towards selecting which session and currency pair I want to concentrate on.
Finally i got the Asian Session Range indicator to look like yours. Previously, mine was with all the boxes checked, which gave me all the figures and lines that made my chart look very messy. Can't thank you enough buddy!

Yes Iliya,, since i followed you i take notice of your every word in videos, i am regular viewer of your weekly outlook. i am from Pakistan and having trading routine mixed in all session, i start the day from Asian session, get the trades in London session and make my closing in overlapping period of LC and NY, in my day i have all the three sessions with GMT+5 chart timing.

Hi Iliya, im always excited when i receive notification about a new released video from you haha. actually todays topic is a big problem i have to deal with. Im in Mauritania now (North-West Africa) same time as UTC time. The problem is that i work form 8:00am to 5:30 im at work during both London and New-York session and Asian session 😅😅😅no comment
This is a tough situation to be, Sedrick. But let's not complain, but try to seek a solution! How can you trade during that time? What kind of strategy you are going to need? How can you set alerts, so you can trade stress free from the phone? When can you prepare your charts each day (before 8AM or the night before?)? Use the work as motivation to keep going and achieving your dreams!

Asian here, between GMT +7 / +8... honestly, I don't really like Asian session, very slow, but, luckily there's London session. Been trying to avoiding NY session, usually my loss started from there, lol.

Hi im from Botswana, so i trade the london session in the morning which starts at 9am for 3 hours and depending on how that session went i wont trade for the rest of the day, it would just be trade management. i consider myself a scalper who focuses on trendline continuation patterns and wait for breakouts or just ride the direction. Great video. Thanks. But I do think its important to watch the charts almost 24/7 in the beginning of ones trading career. I don't think one can and will ever understand the markets if one doesn't commit oneself to the charts in the beginning and almost observe every movement. I was studying about 20 hours each day when I started trading.

I can totally vouch for that, Miri. I was also sitting at the charts more than 12 hours each day. I guess it was an obsession at first, so you really can't help it. It's really important that at this time, traders don't risk their own money and approach the market with an open and teachable mindset. Else, they are goign to get burnt and start hating the market way too soon haha

I am 14 years old and i have school every day but i like and want to trade, but i just don't have time, beacuse of homework... What should I do, should i focus more on school or should i just become a swing trader (I am a scalper). Thank you. Btw your market structure videos are so important and I have learned a lot. I also completed your free course.
You are still quite young bro! Focus on slowly getting the fundamentals of trading. Don't rush it. Finish your school for sure and don't let trading affect your schoool. You cannot scalp at this time, as you'll most likely be at school during that time. Spend time monitoring the charts or maybe depending on your timezone - trade after school. I'd say ficus on higher timeframes like 4H and 1H for entries for example and as you get better with those - you can start dropping lower to 30/15M for entries....
@@TradingFanatic I have been learning trading and paper trading for half a year now. I don't let trading affect my school (i have realy good grades). But I am just not build for higher timeframes, I quickly loose focus (like in 30 min)., and I just can't hold my positions long. I am learning more and more and I like beeing a scalper (doing pretty good on paper trading). Should I continuate on smaller timeframes or should I trade higher timeframes . Thank you for the anwser. I realy appriciate it. BTW. what app for journal trades should I use (that is free).
