We were longing to try out this concept of interacting with strangers while making fun of each other. Which we thought would be impractical in India. But, the persistent jokers that we are, we though why not? And that's how came the idea and thee channel name "Because Why Not?"

आता मी काही अशा गोष्टींवर बोलणार आहे,जे मला वाटतात की आपल्याकडे असून सुद्धा आपल्याला त्या गोष्टींची किंमत नाही.किंवा कदाचित आपल्याला असं वाटतं की आपल्याला त्या गोष्टी मिळाल्याच नाही. आपलं घर हे दोन-तीन मजलींच आहे.हे मजले आहेत,विदर्भ, मराठवाडा, कोंकण,खानदेश व मुंबई (जो ह्या घराचा सगळ्यात खालचा मजला आहे).ह्या खालच्या मजल्याबद्दल तर मी सविस्तर बोलणार.कारण की हा मजला खूप महत्त्वाचा आहे.आपल्याला घरात शिरायला या मजल्यात आधी घुसावं लागतं.इथूनच कळते की घर नेमकं आहे तरी कसं आणि मग इथूनच वरच्या मजल्यांबद्दल कल्पना येते की ते कसे असावे. पहिला मजला हा सगळ्यात महत्त्वाचा मजला आहे.या मजल्याबद्दल मी खूप सांगू इच्छितो. मुळात या घराची सुरुवातच या मजल्यापासून झाली होती.त्यामुळे या मजल्याविषयी एक विशेष आदर असावा. या मजल्यामध्ये नक्की काय सुरू आहे यावर आपली बारीक नजर असावी.कारण इथूनच सुरू होणार या घराच्या बांधकामाची सुरुवात.
जागा मिळाली आहे.आता काम लवकरच सुरू होणार आहे.आता कामासाठी लागतील मजदूर.आता आपल्याकडे तर आहेत थोडेफार मजदूर.पण तरीही आणखी मजदुरांची गरज आहे.त्यामुळे आपण आता शेजारी घरात विचारूया कि ते येतील काय थोडा हातभार लावायला.आणि देवाच्या कृपेने ते तयारही झाले.आता मजदूर आलेले आहेत.त्यांना काम समजवण्यात आलेले आहे त्यांनी आता कामाला सुरुवात देखील केलेली आहे.आता बघायची आहे ती फक्त वाट एका सुंदर घराची जो अवघ्या काही दिवसातच तयार होणार आहे. जवळजवळ वीस वर्षे ओलांडून गेलेली आहेत.हो वीस वर्षे.कारण काम हळुवारपणे सुरू होते.पण झाले असे की घर बनवण्यामागे मागे बरीच कारणे होते व गरजा होत्या. त्यामुळे या सगळ्या बाबी पूर्ण करण्यासाठी इतका वेळ लागला. पण घर पक्क व मजबूत झालं.हे घर आता इतके सुंदर आणि विशाल झाले आहे की हे एक आता जागतिक पातळीवरचे आकर्षणाचे जणू एक केंद्र बनून गेले.आता इथे येणाऱ्यांची गर्दी या घराला बघणाऱ्यांची गर्दी वाढत जात होती. मात्र या गोष्टीचा आनंद करावा की चिंता करावी हेच मराठी माणसं (इथले मूलनिवासी)
यांना समजणे कठीण झाले होते. पहिलाच मजला असल्यामुळे तुम्ही समजू शकता ना की, ह्या मजल्यावरच अखी इमारत उभी राहणार आहे.आणि हा मजलाच जर नष्ट होऊन गेला अतिक्रमणाने असमानतेने व इथल्या लोकांच्या निष्काळजीपणामुळे,तर काय भवितव्य राहणार ह्या घराचं? मग झालं.अनेक संघटना बनल्या आणि या विरोधात आंदोलनं करू लागलित. आणि मग घडले असे की ज्याची कल्पनाच कोणी केली नव्हती. काहीच घडले नाही. दिवसेंदिवस ही असमानता वाढतच चालली होती.पाहुण्यांकडून घरातल्या लोकांना हीन वागणूक मिळू लागली.वेगवेगळ्या प्रांतातून आलेले पाहुणे वेगवेगळे गट बनवू लागले.स्थानिक लोकांना कामं मिळणे बंद झाली.
