Lightroom is simply a very annoying software to use, and is just there because Adobe controls most of the market.

Adobe has really dropped the ball in Lightroom. What software that's been out for over 15 years doesn't have a way to customize their shortcut keys?

I use Keyboard Maestro to do the same. I set it to option+S.
It automate two actions : 1) Shift+cmd+S then 2) Return
