After a swim mine stopped working, black screen and would heat when connected to the charger, i used this video to open it and clean with an electronic cleaner, it booted up and its working now, thank you very much
Hi there, my Garmin vivoactive 4 fell on its side and subsequently has a bubble on the screen. The bubble moves around when I apply pressure in trying to push out any air. Can this be repaired to a point where I can swim with it again? I’m in South Africa
Do you know what temperature that gun is operating at? My display has probably died, water got underneath the glass (it's between the glass and display). So I am thinking of replacing it.. Any thoughts on this? :)
@@miriamhoogesteger It's a waterproof glue but we wouldn't recommend using your device in water after a repair. The same goes for any repair or refurbished smartwatch

Very helpful. Thanks for showing how to remove the screen and also showing what the internal components and connections look like.

Heat gun is at 180 C. If you suspect any water damage then I'd strongly suggest opting for a new device!
Which glue do u use?
for best results recommend using e6000 but make sure that you buy one with a nozzle for easy application
And can I still use the watch in the shower and swimming pool?
