I love the scene cus everyone tries with multiple ways to lure her out and yet when it comes to Ross it shows how much he actually knows her with “We got Presents!..” to which she responds with “Good Ones?..” It’s one of the least talked about scene between the both of them that shows how much he knows her still. And remaining on the episode I LOVE the ending it’s freakin HILARIOUS!! With Tag riding Rachel’s scooter around in the Hall doing a trick and a pose to her to revealing that the entire time Joey is chasing him back n forth in the hall waiting for his turn, like siblings. And of course the “WHY GOD WHY?!!?”
Joey was always an emotional protector of everyone. I don't remember anytime when Joey had been mean to anyone. Joey forgave Chandler to kissing Kathy when he was with her. Joey volunteered to go full vegan for Phoebe during her pregnancy. Joey was considerate about Ross while with Rachel. When Rachel announced her pregnancy, Joey volunteered to marry her and take care of the baby. I would love a friend like Joey anytime.

“Getting rid of childish things” doesn’t mean giving up what you love. It’s more about leaving behind childish behaviors by taking responsibility for yourself and your actions. You can still drink out of juice boxes, you just have to start buying them yourself.
I liked the one where the gang celebrated Chandler and Monica's engagement in the apartment while Monica yells i'm engaged outside with Mondler reaching a new milestone in their relationship.💗
also i noticed they have different comedic intelligence levels and different types so that anyone can laugh: joey and phoebe they made them stupid comedy (similar to carlton and ditzy hilary in fresh prince), chandler they made him a higher level of comedy that most of the times only the audience gets (similar to will smith when he looks at the camera when delivering a joke), they made ross the point of authority and high morality (notice how he ALWAYS takes the high road and especially lets things go, he's similar to vivian banks), and of course monica is the glue and control freak like uncle phil (and she was actually fat in the past like him too😅🤣). for rachel she started ditzy but adorable like ashley in fresh prince (phoebe was ditzy and weird in the early seasons, and then bada$$ boss after) Also the whole premise of this show was taken from queen latifah one, except they made the jokes more universal and relatable. by far of all the characters: they made rachel extremely toxic to ross.
@@lolabrini3758 Phoebe was not dumb. She was wrong about some things, and she was eccentric, but she was not really stupid. Joey was sort of like an idiot-savant. Chandler even called Joey "Rainman" once. Joey could be dim one moment, and then sharp in another moment. Either way, like all of the characters, he was funny a.f. Ross did NOT always take the high road. No offense, but did you really watch the show? None of these characters were perfect saints. All of them, at times, were self-centered, manipulative, dishonest, deceitful, duplicitous, and even spiteful. At other times, of course, they could be wonderful.
I think Ross was a true idealist. They had known each other a long time. Fine maybe have the thoughts, but probably shouldn't have shared the thoughts with her so soon. Makes for fun comedy 😃 though!
His ❤ for her was not always a mature ❤. It was often more like a remnant of his high school crush / infatuation / obsession with her. He demonstrated that by dismissing her jobs & careers as unimportant compared to his own, and by urinating all around her desk to mark his territory.
Ross is a traditional idealist that’s a big part of his character and why his complicated history with Rachel + his multiple divorces + getting women pregnant outside of marriage are actually more sad than funny. He talks about that with Joey perfectly in Season 8 episode 5 he always wanted the marriage, the big house, the family with multiple children etc… Plus he’s been in love with Rachel since high school AND they both describe their relationship as "amazing" (season 2 episode 20) so Ross imagining their future very early into their love life makes sense in this situation and for his character.
