In -degree temp this is the very common problem for all diesel cars..This is not specially happend for Thar...Diesel cars should be added Anti Freeze in such coldest terrains....

@Mountain Man The problem they have faced is DPF clogging issue and this is the problem with every BS6 diesel car. And one more thing if you will keep running any BS6 diesel overnight, then only flatbed truck will bring your car back. Before taking any diesel car to this extreme temperature demands some knowledge about your vehicle. Safe Journeys.

Diesel at Kaza filling station is not all the problem, don't misguide your audience. Even winter diesel is available at Kaza which can easily withstand till -30 degree C after 2019.

It has better cold start but not all the time because -30 is very extreme for diesel engines. Winter diesel may help or antifreeze. Even after these treatment you need many more things such diesel preheaters, block heaters etc.

But agar gaddi truck mein jayegi toh khrcha petrol vehicle se bhi jyada hoga pareshani alag se.
