I'm 63 now & am walking with God now praise God. But when I was young we in my 20's & 30's I had this Jezebel spirit. My best friend even told me I had it but I didn't know what she meant. Looking back now on all those wild years I spent in the darkness, partying all the time, I see now she was right. Thank you Jesus for delivering me from that horrible spirit & for giving me a new heart with so much love for you Lord. You delivered me of that spirit and gave me a new life in you. One where I'm helping others & serving God by serving others. He gave me a new spirit one that loves others & is eager to serve others. And loves God more than anything. I will praise your name Jesus to my last breath. Amen

Well said my sister! I can't believe in my now 45 years of salvation ups and downs that I've Never Realized All the tentacles that spirit STILL HAD IN MY LIFE! BUT GLORY TO GOD MY EYES HAVE BEEN OPENED NOW. I am 67 years old and have within the last 6 months been MORE TEMPTED, with night terrors/sexual dreams AND OFFERS than I have had for many years. Almost to the point of sexual harassment from one person who I am sure is possessed. He is so helpful, anything I ask he would do for me, his aggression is to the point of me not letting him in my house. Even though he wouldn't think his behavior is threatening. I wondered what was going on and have been talking to God about it. Now I SEE! I knew how to rebuke the enemy but now I am so much better armed (with a better understanding of the word). WOW! Just because another person Told you that ( in Their opinion ) you had a Jezabel spirit doesn't mean that you actually did. Most youth sew some wild oats. I've never read or heard of any person ever confessing and being delivered of a Jezabel spirit. God bless you 🙏.

I’ve have an extreme father wound, that statement blew my mind. Jezebel has been attacking me since I was a little girl, 4 years old maybe. I was nearly kicked out of a Christian kindergarten for kissing a boy in the bathroom. I lost my virginity at 14, and that spiritually broke me. I have always been full of fear, rejection, depression, mental illness, broken marriage, poverty.. I could go on. I was approached to be sexually trafficked right before my 18th bday which lead me to being a stripper for 3 years. The lord called me out of that place but my fear didn’t keep me from sexual immorality, poverty, division, gossip, witchcraft,goodness so much. I was full of compromise and still battle compromise in my life. I was an alcoholic and went to treatment for nearly a year. I’ve abused drugs and have come out of all of it, by ONLY the grace of GOD. He has now revealed to me my calling and I’m leading a small womens church group (first time ever) and was baptized for the first time in my life 3 weeks ago at age 42. I have whole faith he will bring the seed he planted in me, before birth, that I WILL walk out the calling he has placed on my life! I will bring so many lost souls to be saved by Christ and nothing will stop me. Hallelujah!!! To GOD be the GLORY!!!

The spirit of Jezebel does try to kill you. It tries to kill your ministry, dreams, anointing and calling. It does make a demand for respect. Sometimes it's those who say they're not about titles, yet glory in their titles and use it to oppress others. Father wounds can make it difficult for ministers/ leaders to lead correctly. A shepherd guards the sheep, not beats or devours the sheep. Those with 'Father wounds' will use discipline in a way of justifying spiritual abuse.
"You cannot out argue a demon. A person under demonic influence will not admit they're wrong. Because if they admit wrong, it weakens their case". It's true that most under this spirit will not repent. Don't be gracious to this spirit. Wow. Great insight!
Jezebel can be anyone, from layman to leaders. Jezebel spirits are jealous and in competition to those who have a great calling. While they may even acknowledge your anointing, they will do anything they can to shut it down. Thanks for a great message! Needs to be taught more within the Body of Christ.

Amen! those close are definitely that. But Lord, please deliver them from all evil and set the captives free. Convict them and draw them close to You Lord. Praying for this very lost soul this manic sick narc that keeps attacking me and my property this has to Stop and all attacks by the Blood of Yashua and jezabel spirit the Lord Rebuke you off of them all, this person, your daughter and my siblings. Amen, that is the truth. You can't reason with a person under demonic spirit influence. And know even if it's your closest loved one, you have to speak in the authority of Jesus to the spirit, because the person usually isn't capable of speaking to you in that moment.
My family has been under attack of this spirit for years and it escalated when my father died. Am glad for this clarity. The spirit sows discord, strife, division and confusion in families and it undermines any form of authority in families and ministries. It also manifests in the form of parental alienation through slander and false accusations

I am grateful for this answer to my prayers. We all need this check and balance in our walk with the Lord. I know for a fact this ugly ugly thing looks for a door periodically with anyone through offense and injury emotionally. We must keep the door closed and keep check and balance of our hearts and thoughts. We MUST be quick to repent. Be humble. The victory is in the bowed life.

This sermon supplied many of the answers I’ve been asking God for. Father wound leading to jezebel spirit? Man, that makes perfect sense now. The Lord has really driven home the notion of father wounds lately. I’m battling that in a couple of fronts.
Thank you for that, my thinking was,that the narcissist is a recent new description of a person in or around our life, but I was wrong! The Jezebel spirit has been here a long long time.

This is such an important message for the church. People have a hard time confronting in ministries and churches and the people go through unnecessary problems because of it! Lord give us leaders a spirit of boldness to confront spiritual attacks in our churches.
Yes:4sure!! My Pastor listened to gossip & has spread it to his son & even down to the ears of his grandson,, that’s pretty low!!! I’m leaving this church, besides it being a 501c3 church & plenty of other reasons!! I’ll never become a member to a church again!!

After watching and studying the scriptures, I want to thank you Ps Robert Morris for sharing this. I am aware of not just how the Jezebel spirit tries to get access into the church, but how it gains access into individuals and families homes and causes destruction to occur even before getting to the church. This spirit is gets more cunning and stronger as we allow this spirit to manipulate our lives and cause to be very lazy and lethargic about our walk with God. The reason we need to get back to putting on the armour of God is so that we are protected and that we can stand in the day of evil. Tiredness and burnout in our lives trying to make individual, family and church life happen through performance, personality christianity has got to stop and we need to get back to standing firm in Jesus and resisting the enemy by submitting to God's authority first and foremost in everything. Thank you. I prayed with you tonight! My marriage has been under attack by this Jesabel spirit through a friend that I've known for many years! I was shocked when I realized what we were dealing with but it then made sense as I woke up to her trying to take my husband to stop the annointing on our life! I've been studying and reading much on this spirit and realized I needed help. We've been married 47 years. I'm claiming that my husband is filled with the fire of the Holy Ghost. Praise God

Btw I’m not a leader, I just allowed the Jezebel spirit in my life through ppl and even myself. I experienced some sort of attack....that felt like it was trying to kill me or lead to something of sort....so prayers for anyone who experienced such things.....
The Jezebel spirit in my life is my mother. I’ve gone through so much with that woman. She is a covert narcissist to the 100th degree. I’ve experienced everything you mentioned including the sickness. I’m in the middle of battling stage 4 B cell lymphoma that started in my bones. Only 3% of lymphomas start in the bones. I’m the first person in my whole family to have this. Even going back generations. I had painful bone lesions for 4 years before that. I went to 7 different specialists and no one could tell me why it was happening. I had Daily migraines for years, before that. The neurologist could not tell me why it was happening and nothing I did stopped them. I have been sick in some way or another for a decade. All of this after allowing her back into my life as an adult. She left us with our dad when we were small. I cut her from my life finally at the end of 2019. I went almost 17 years trying to get her to see what she’d been doing. Wasted years trying to get her to change her ways. Nothing I said or did ever made any difference. She took full advantage of my sense of duty and responsibility to her as my parent. She used me for everything she could get, and still made me feel like I owed her more. Nothing was ever enough. She even had me questioning myself as a person. I did not know that I had to repent for allowing her into my life and the lives of my husband and children. Thank you so much for this message. I believe the jezebel spirit is having major influence over the world right now. We must do everything we can to remove it from our lives and the lives of those that follow us. I feel lighter, and stronger already after having heard this message. This message has done more for me and my family than you can ever know. Thank you and God bless you, pastor Morris.
Don't speak badly of your mother, especially not in public. It is very disrespectful no matter what you claim she's done. Honor thy father and thy mother, it's the first commandment with a promise. That your days will be long on the earth.

You don’t know anything about my life and the relationship I’ve had with my mother. I’m not being disrespectful, I am speaking the truth. If the truth makes her look bad, then perhaps she shouldn't be behaving that way. It's no one's fault but her own.
If you think cutting my mother out of my life was easy, you’re mistaken. That couldn’t be further from the truth. I tried everything for nearly 20 years to keep her in my life. What she did to me over all those years made me physically ill, and the emotional aspect of her abuse is something I may never fully get over.
Your self righteous attitude isn’t wanted or appreciated. Neither is your attempt to police my speech and preach PARTIAL lessons from the Bible.
As far as making a negative comment about my mother publicly, I WISH I had found a comment like mine 15 years ago. It might have set me down the path of getting useful information earlier, and I might have saved myself years of emotional and physical suffering and pain. I sincerely hope someone going through something similar will see it and free themselves.

@@lizqstudio4040I can tell you're hurting and I am sorry I didn't mean to minimize your pain. Sounds like you really have issues with unforgiveness. Forgiveness is all about your own healing. If you continue to hold on to resentments it eventually will eat you up from the inside out and could destroy you. Studies show resentment can lead to physical and mental health problems and even cause major diseases.
Forgiveness is not about letting the other person off the hook. You can still hold them accountable but when you forgive your own healing can begin. Try to think about the positive things in your life right now! Despite everything you've been through you're still standing! God kept you! God grace had brought you this far and it's not even over yet! The best is yet to come! Good things are coming your way! What the enemy meant for evil God can turn for good!
The Bible says if we don't forgive God will not forgive us! Unforgiveness can hinder our prayers and our blessings! Forgive your mother and release her. All of us are imperfect human beings living in this fallen world! When we forgive those who hurt us we will eventually find peace and healing.
I myself an going through similar issues right now and even as I'm writing this I'm realizing I actually need this for myself! Lol!! Maybe God lead me here for my own healing!! 😂

You have to fine a way to forgive her but still find love for her .pray for her and most important is to for give her. Because Jesus said you have to forgive your enemy as I have forgive you.it is hard very hard but to find peace you have too. You can cut her from your life but most importantly just for give. Liz Q Studio when I first got married my mother wouldn't let me go emotionally she had a hold on me even though I had moved far, far away. Not on purpose. I loved my Mom but for some reason her letters to me were very hurtful. I was crying all the time. My husband told me one day, don't answer her letters. It was not easy to let go either but After many months she became sweeter asking me Why I was not answering her letters. My point is that you really cannot change people, that's the work of the Holy Spirit but you can Set boundaries, pray for them and forgive them. Yes parents should not provoke their children to wrath...but they are totally oblivious that they are doing it. They think they are being good parents. I forgave my Mom. After many years I realized how lonely she felt not having my brothers and sisters around. My older brother stopped talking to her to the day she died because that's all He knew to do. He had to stand over her casket and ask her to forgive him. He married several times but now he's been married to a Christian woman that loves him and understands him. He is growing in the Lord.
My Mom, I thought I've forgiven her until God showed me that I haven't forgiven her from my heart. ❤ so I did! While she was alive I led her and my Dad to receive the Lord as her personal Lord and Savior. My husband baptized them too. My Mom loved her children and we loved her so much but like all Moms she wasn't willing to let us go and form our lives. But praise God she's with the Lord now.
This includes physical and spiritual adultery, also every believer is called to be the head and not the tail, therefore we are all leaders to someone

wow, thank you for this message. I had a friend who was showing these tendencies, refused to accept any kind of correction and I was being spiritually attacked. So I cut off the relationship , the attacks stopped and my peace and joy returned.
This is quite a remarkable look at the spiritual battle we are engaged in. As Pastor Robert said more than once, our enemy is the spiritual wickedness and not the human who is caught in its deceptive grip. I recall a personal experience where the Lord gave me very clear words of light that exposed the lies of the wicked one. The Light very powerully dispelled the darkness. I could see that my 'friend' was being given the opportuity to come into the Light or to leave with the darkness in that moment. It grieved me that she left but I learned a valuable lesson. May the Blood of the Lamb cover us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness and evil afliction in the name of Jesus and unto the Glory of God our Father. Amen

I’ve had it happen twice. Both were supposed to be close/ best friends but it was all about position. That’s hard. First time I never knew what this was until the Holy Spirit revealed it to me. The second time I recognized it but it was allowed to rule by an authority over me. I will say that humility can be false. They can act humble and really desire to be humble but sometimes the desire in them for control is stronger so they give in to the Jezebel Spirit. They manipulate to make you think they are humble to be given position and power.
Amen every single paster needs to hear this message. As a worship musician I have had to leave a couple of church homes because a Jezebel spirit was not just allowed, but encouraged in the servants.
Thank you. This message has come in a time of my life when I needed reminding of overcome battles that have returned because I have allowed the same annoyances to affect me that I had overcome involving the same people who do not acknowledge their wrongs. I didn’t even notice how quickly it happened. God used your message to wake me up.

This was so good! My goodness #7!!!!!!!!!! Started a Bible Fellowship. Didn't want to lead it thought we could all be free in the spirit but the Jezebel spirit began to pop up. I learned a great lesson.

I will be praying for you. They usually come together along with leviathan and python I would start researching so you can identify them bind denounce rebuke and send them back to the pit of hell from which they came. Try to take an honest look at things in your life that may be giving them legal right to operate and attack you. Things that are out of the will of God that are giving these demons and open door. Above all seek the Holy Spirit for guidance on all of it, he can deliver you and free you if you truly surrender it all to him. God bless you, Jesus loves you so much 🙏🏼💙

Yes, one of our children has absolutely never been willing to admit to having done anything wrong. She always has a "reason" for why she did what she did, and it wasn't wrong, or wasn't her fault, or that isn't what actually happened...
Jonathan had issues with his father, but also David had issues with his das, so Gideon, so Judah, so Jacob, so most people in leadership, with all due respect to the pastor the interpretation of Jonathan's friendship to David is avery shaky one, never the less, is a great message Praise The Lord!

I heard your previous sermon on not tolerating Jezebel, but I needed to hear this, as well. This spirit is what has been at work in my birth family for decades. I have had to separate myself from them about 3-4 years ago. The condemnation gets oppressive, I think there’s something I should be doing since they are my birth family. They use Bible verses out of context, and smear my character. It’s awful. Sad and depressing.

Keep Walking & Talking the Truth. They hear and know you are following Gods word even if they won't admit it. YOU are making a difference in their life even if they won't acknowledge it. Family Rejection hurts, give it to the Lord, easy said but just keep on doing it over and over if necessary.

Another family member decided just last week to cast her judgment (my dad's sister), and she said she doesn't want to be with me anymore until I have forgiven my dad. She told me I am going to hell because of this. I told her forgiveness doesn't require reconciliation. I hadn't seen her in decades. I have forgiven him, I just choose to not subject myself to them, because things don't change. She texts me Bible verses to look up, but says she doesn't want to be around me until my dad and I are reconciled. Seems hypocritical, but honestly, it hurts less and less now.
The churches to hear this every day.

There is no doubt in my mind that this can effect leadership in the home. Yes, a husband can exhibit every detail of what Pastor Robert is saying:
They crave:
Position
Demand Respect
Control
Title
Submission
They don't:
Worship
Abandon themselves before God (naked, like David)
Hear Truth
Reason with you
Listen to God's voice
Apply His Word
Or have a servants ❤ heart, wanting to come alongside the mission together and be the example of Eph 5; showing a lost and dying world what Salvation looks like.
Behind closed doors is reprehensible and would expose to the world who they really are :(

I've always enjoyed Robert's sermons. Humility with a definite sense of strength. Having also dealt with a jezebel spirit, I really value his wisdom on this subject. When Jimmy Evans preached on the jezebel spirit (a great teaching also) he mentioned the witchcraft spirit in passing, saying it also, like the jezebel spirit was a vicious spirit. Would love to hear a sermon on the witchcraft spirit. I'm sure it has many of the same fruits as the jezebel spirit. Very, very important subject for the Christian. Sadly, all churches have these demons/spirits. They can literally make your life a living hell. Do NOT tolerate it, if you do, you will regret it.
