Solid advice honestly, im on ps5 sitting between d3-c1 every season. Main advice i have to get out of plat as I did struggle a little in season 2, is to ignore bum ass teammates that hotdrop prison or control without mics. Theyll instantly die 2-3 times and then drop near you and start playing safer. For the sake of your SR dont follow the trash premades that drop in prison, ever.
Dude, it's so hard for me with end game battle royals in general. I get this adrenaline that kicks in, and my hands start shaking like crazy. No matter how much I try to relax, that adrenaline brings things up to pace every single time😅
I get the same thing every gun fight but usually it's just the first three games ? ... For me it's best to warm up and plunder or lockdown and once my palms are done being sweaty and shaky , that's when I get more comfortable and set into a groove !
As a keyboard player and solo queuing, getting out of plat is the hardest part to get a high rank, but BioWeapons and chemical are great places for early load outs due to contracts
I’m plat 3 and I play with plat 1 friends and we’re not the best but our communication and iq is what makes us place top 3 I played with them recently for 4 games and got 2nd 3times and one third and I play on console
Run a sniper, play recon for your team, stay in a safe place and get tags on teams fighting for assists, play positioning and always have good spots for endgames, don’t necessarily push with your team if you know you can snipe the people their fighting from a distance. Run proxys and smokes for defending your spot and rotating
So basically guys, don't follow the metas. Good players find a way around them in two weeks minimum, so keep playing pubs and casual (lockdown is a good one since you have infinite respawns) make your own loadouts and tweak them as needed throughout a few matches. I made a good zero recoil high damage build on an AR that way

As a k&m player i can assurde from My experience that the type of control that TH-cam are using have influence but it not makes you win, for example for fast movements i find kem bit difficoult because sometimes the mouse runs all the way to the end of the mouse pad and ripositioning it on the center of the pad for more movement require Time, time that for example controllers do not need because they have sticks and aim assist that could be helpful but there are some tricks to broke
Iri on ps5, I don't own a monitor, scuf, paddles, xim, or anything else people use nowadays. The key to ranking up is to stop trying to out mechanic people. I see way too many plats and diamonds thinking they're movement gods.. play smarter not harder. Take your time with your fights, play for advantages like downs, cracks on armor, high grounds, better circle positioning and then capitalize as needed. No need to push a team that has to rotate into circle even if you full killed one. If they have to come to you just wait on your position and hold. The basics of ranking up is to stop dying. If you're taking 3 or more deaths in game, fix that. And for the love of God, learn to anchor in early games. Play safe if you're last alive. Idc if it's 1v1 and the guy has no armor. It's better to not die early and lose 60-100 Sr than it is to gain the measly 5sr for the one kill. Too many people get thirsty for 1 kill I stead of just surviving.
THIS. I’m on Xbox and just hit crimson. You can’t play the same as you would bronze-plat. Learned that the hard way lol. I’d like to hit iri, but not sure I have the skill for it. Some of these people just have insane game sense and map awareness and that’s something I still need to work on

I’m on Xbox and in crimson. You honestly just need a good set and stone team. I only play with a certain squad cause you need that chemistry. Yeah pc might still have an advantage with stronger aim assist and higher fps, but getting a high rank on console is definitely doable if you know what you’re doing

@@devinreinagle26 bc with console there’s something preventing the anti cheat to ban you, but on pc the instant someone spam reports you, you’re cooked, I’ve streamed gameplay on console and played on console my whole life, never got shadow banned/banned, but the instant you switch to pc ricochet anti cheat sees all the reports you have on your acc, you’ll end up in a shadow ban loop, if you drop more than 10 kills

The thing that’s holding me back is I’m bad at the game and everyone I play against are acting like this is a World Cup and when they down me 95.5 percent of the time they T bag me and that builds up and I say to myself I’m trash and I’ll never get good so the players are holding me back
Btw, you don’t need an expensive gaming pc to play mouse and keyboard. I’ve been playing mouse and keyboard on Xbox for years now and it’s really good. Only a couple games support it, but Fortnite, CoD, and Minecraft all work (which is like 95% of what I play)

Unfortunately bioweapons is not low traffic. I’m in diamond and almost every drop has at least 2-3 teams which is okay just not low traffic at least in my lobbies. I get people in Iridescent 3 and crimson players each game. It’s just difficult when your set up isn’t worth thousands of dollars plus softwares to help you hear and play better. Still a really fun game regardless though.
To said bio is a cold zone💀every game I play there’s 4 teams that land there and more at chem. The only places I land that aren’t full of players, are decon and electric(that little building outside next to decon with a buy station)

I have a 2.4 KD and I got platinum from Bronze one in literally 4 days as a SOLO QUEUER. It’s really not that much different from normal pubs up until mid platinum.
Not having garbage randos as teammates also helps.
