When you opened it up I was expecting neat and tidy hand wiring not PCBs. Sounds great now clean and driven, HiWatt heaven. If that's crap guitar playing Martyn I may as well sell mine. :)
Hello Rob. It's a shame it's not hand wired. Still sounds good. though. some days I feel like I play crap. Lack of practice and dodgy thumbs. Take care Rob.
Martyn nice fix for this amp. So was this made in the UK or by the looks of the construction I’m thinking China…. Great work and outstanding playing, take care my friend.
Hello Gary. I am not a fan either. It seems to have been the trend over that past few years, even in Boutique amps now. Thanks for watching and take care.
Hi pal, I've got a roost 150w from if I remember it's a 71 could be wrong but talking about loud, holy Toledo batman,it's from when hiwatt went bump and I think sound city bought the old stock, partridge transformers a few original valves 4 mullard and two Marshall power valves,it's unbelievably loud.hand wired built like a brick sh.. house
Those early roost amps were great amps. They still make Roost amps. There is a website for them. I wonder if they are as good as the old ones. Thanks for watching and take care.

Hi I've worked with those tube sockets. I believe the shields are aluminum. I use plumbers flux and it seems to allow the solder to flow...
