@@aminulshamimhuq8203 not entirely sure its a good idea for me to pinpoint around where I live on the internet lol. I will say even though its on the list it isn’t half bad of a school if your local and just need to get a degree. Im in the engineering program and it has one of the best professors I’ve ever had
I thought "worst" universities would be rated based on curriculum and course offerings on top of graduation rates and student debt. Also, the tougher the course the lower the graduation rate. That's just how it is.
My son graduated from De Vry college in Phoenix, AZ with a degree in electrical engineering technology. He was at the time working at a company in the electrical engineering industry. He graduated on Friday, and came back to work the next Monday, having been promoted from technician to engineer, earning more than I did as a teacher with 26 years of experience. He went on to earn an MBA at the University of San Francisco, CA and is currently CEO of the company where he works.
I mean, lets be honest, adding Georgetown to the list is a bit much, lol, the rest of them look grim judging by facilities shown here, but we all know Georgetown doesn't belong here.
Georgetown University is not on the list. Georgetown is a marvelous school with top tier graduate schools, including a highly rated School of Medicine. You must of been smokin' something when you wrote this.
It's hard to take this seriously when you 1) use photos of Columbia University for the University of the District of Columbia and 2) joke about "girls" being an aspect of whether or not a college is good in the first minute of the video as if we are static aspects of the university there for boys' enjoyment and not also students with individual interests and needs in education. And Georgetown, despite all their problems, doesn't belong on a worst colleges list. C'mon.
I was surprised to see CSULB on the list. I got both my BA and MA from there. It was a highly affordable and well respected, school. Of course, this was back in the 1970s and '80s.
if u have financial aid, & are an international student, do not go to UNLV. Alot of students end up homeless because the financial aid institutions are late with the tuition money.
Colleges and universities are not supposed to be job training centers (other than engineering, medicine, and science). They are supposed to teach you to think and communicate and be aware of the world.
Transferring out of Fayetteville State University and seeing this, I couldn’t have been more glad I didn’t graduate from there. From my 1 year experience over there, I figured it would have a reputation on rocky roads, but I didn’t think it was THIS bad it would make it to a list like this…
To put any CSU on this list implies that there's something deeply flawed in your measurement techniques since all of the CSUs by nature have the same quality of education. The only exception would be maybe Humboldt, Pomona, San Luis Obispo because they're all polytechnic schools and Maritime Academy because it's a military school. Also to put Rensselaer on this list is a reach since while it has some serious administration problems, it's still an excellent school to go to go to since the student opportunities they give are easily on the same level as the little or public ivies and occasionally they enter the same level as the ivies (see their math curriculum which has brought them a putnam ranking, something that is usually reserved for only the top 5 unis in mathematics in both America and Canada)
I must say the evidence suggested for CSU LA is hard to grasp. Fundamentally, CSU LA is often a forgotten school within the CSU system due to other popular and competitive choices, not to mention UCs. However I once toured here and gauged their policies of how structured this school is and the benefit of surroundings in a diverse setting. Innovative minds thrive at this school and if censorship was truly a scandal, I think this would be more notorious of a subject as a California resident. I would check your facts more carefully before deciding what to put on a list of negativity for the whole public to view.
Honestly, USC Aiken, South Carolina I'm glad that I didn't start college there☺️ I thought about joining when I was a Sophomore in high, but I'm here at Midlands Technical College and this tech school is awesome 😎
I got my bachelor's at 35 during the pandemic and regret part of it mostly because of the age gap and feeling like a chop shop. What I meant was hurry up get done and get out. Then to top it off I graduated when the pandemic started in spring of 2020 and turned 36 that September.
Playing in the marching band, a guest speaker from Shaw would be invited by our band director who encourages us to go enroll and join their program for the scholarship and it only worked for one person in my class and he left for the military right after 😂
I don't know why CSULB is on this list? I never seen any racism of any type there. Everybody's at CSULB is friendly and cool with no problems. I also graduated from this school and learned a lot and had a great time there. I met lots of people I love and respect for the rest of my life. I only thing I can say bad about CSULB is the long hard walk-up "Hard Fact Hill" and its lack of available parking spaces. CSULB has a large distance between classes and finally there is no football stadium to watch your team win unless you want to drive to the nearby Long Beach City College football stadium. Overall CSULB has a great Olympic size swimming pool, and fantastic marching band, a great nursing program, social and political science and lots of student social events, lots of hot-looking women and parties near the beach and nearby 2nd street with lots of nice nearby bars, and good eating restaurants. Other than that, small problems of trying to find a place to park then running to class to be on time, the professors are normally good and willing to help you and understand the long hike you took just make it on time to class. Please give CSULB a second chance to prove that's a great school.
Didn't think Cal Newport is a professor in one of the worst unis. But as a computer scientist, I don't really care about free speech, I just like to learn and get job opportunities
Georgetown? HAHAHAHAHA - one of the best in the country. Just because the You Tuber seems to obsess about Bernie Sanders doesn't mean Georgetown was wrong. WOKE YOU TUBE CHANNEL.
All youtube videos are carefully researched and vigorously fact checked to insure the absolute absence of personal bias. Somehow, Gergetown made this list, but Evergreen State College did not.
A couple of things... First, you do realize that Nazarine Bible College preps people for religious employment. Although there are some courses in philosophy, that is not going to be the main focus of study. Second, the issue at Cal State regarding Ben Shapiro was vague and confusing. I really had no idea what the problem was. It was the same concerning the other Cal State "freedom of speech" campus issues...
The worst colleges are Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). I don't recommend anyone attend these Black colleges. I'm Black and I attended two of them and I regret it tremendously. TBT
I don't understand why out of state students have to pay more than in state. Make it all one price. To students...make sure you have a lawyer and get everything in writing.
Most colleges that charge more for out of state students is because the states tax payers pay to run the schools. There is also a limit on out of state students.
Graduation rate should have nothing to do with determining whether or not a college is "bad." In fact, a lower graduation rate could be a good thing as it shows how tough the cirriculum is. Employers should see a student who graduated from a school with low grad rate as a determined fighter who got through the rigor of their studies.
Yes, it should. A low rate would be OK if it was well respected or had high post-graduation income rates, but many are simply tuition grabbers. They simply want to get your $$ and nothing more.
Not always the case. I went to UNCFSU and the low graduation rate did not mean a tough curriculum whatsoever. Even I transferred out of there simply because I transitioned to online learning. A lot of people transfer from the school because they found better options elsewhere once they get that opportunity.
Georgetown are you kidding? After 10 yrs the average salary is 118,900 varies of course by major. Its a Jesuit school. Your there to learn not to do politics. And at those prices hit the books junior
Georgetown has some of the best political science programs in the country, and also has perhaps the best evening law school anywhere. Obviously it is a great place to “do politics”.
