I was thinking I'll be the only one rooting for her tonight. Small but mighty. Tonight she beat pere, giddy,Manuel, remi etc. What a voice texture and command not to talk about her facial expression. She's a star going through the potter's hands right now. I hope I'm still in Nigeria when she blows!!!
But that’s not good. They’re coaches and shouldn’t be afraid to give constructive criticism. There was so many things to point out from his team but he was busy hailing them
You’ll look at Ikande and think he’s an average singer. Once that guy opens his mouth, a different personality emerges and takes charge. He’s so fluid and sings beautifully. His voice is one of the best this season ❤️❤️❤️🔥
Wow. Wow, this is arguably the best I have seen in the Voice Nigeria. Surely, I am a Ugandan and I LOVE to sing too, but this level of Talent is 'Out of this World.' Pere looked ravishing tonight. Marz version of Fireboy’s champion was insanely beautiful. Manuel sabi this performance thing abeg. Ikande brought me to tears literally, heavenly performance. Iceprince is a wonderful coach, great support system.
It's Mike Frost for me. He's in the league of LightHouse Family. I wonder why no one is talking about him. He's underrated. Ikande, Shy, etc, no doubt were excellent but Mike Frost delivered excellently, too, with his soothing tone. I am not surprised that many Nigerians get extremely emotional when someone performs a gospel tune. That's why praises for Ikande and Shy are all over the place. Mike Frost doesn't do too much. He's very direct with his singing; less of those vibratos and rifts and runs. Listen to what he did from 26:17 to 26:53. Look at Praiz from 26:32. Only he understands my point. People like Waje (26:04) have a strong bias for the gospel thing that's why they would lift their hands in praise when a contestant is performing a gospel song; that's why she (Waje) had to keep an I-am-not-moved facial expression regardless of the dexterity he displayed. Thank you Ice Prince for saying it the way you felt and just exactly how I feel, "Your voice, e get as e dey do me..." (27:53). Lest I forget, I enjoyed Marz's performance. Fireboy DML will be proud and jealous at the same time for the way he owned the song. By the way, Pere was excellent! Above all, this episode was awesome.
People aren't talking about Ikande's performance because it's a gospel song. HE DID WELL! It's just what it is. Pere's performance isn't the best he's done(for me) but it was good. Adeola was SUPERB! Niyola's team has my faves but I didn't feel them that much this week. It's life. If a person did well, then he did well. So, Ikande deserves all the accolades he's getting. Guy DELIVERED.

I like that Pere added some ethnical flavour to his performance cause people have been complaining that he is a one trick pony... but for me if a style works for you why change it. My favorite singer on the show. If this show is staying true to its name then Pere is THE VOICE...he has a very theatrical/ dramatic style....one thing I love about pere's voice is the fact that its very soft and light but his voice still has a very solid base and depth to sustain those notes... lets not get started on his high notes.... abeg get out of here!!😂. Not my favorite performance of his but I enjoyed and loved it all the same
Ikande is so unassuming, never looks it, but he delivers top notch performances everytime. His voice, its usage & general understanding of music is from the top drawer! That guy good gan. Meanwhile Marrz is like the most hardworking on the show, he puts in the work! Amazing contestant.

Deola has a great high register... to maintain a good tone at that pitch isn't easy. Her performance was so sweet and classic... wasn't too much but just enough. The best female singer on the show... she kind of reminds me of mercedes from glee. If Adeola works on her low register and powers through her belts even more my gosh it will be all over

Thanks Ikande for this rendition. I played it all through the night and it really touched me. From your starting song "Never Enough" to "Jireh, More than Enough". Your unassuming self is taking us through a journey filled with a poignant message. Human wants can "Never be enough for us" in Nigeria. But Jireh is "more than enough for us" and has blessed us in Nigeria with endless talents and treasures as displayed in this voice, the singers, back up, instrumentalist and coach- every one is special. We all just need to be self aware in Nigeria. We don't need any foreign aid. We just need to look within and realise the Jireh inside and around us

I like that Pere added some ethnical flavour to his performance cause people have been complaining that he is a one trick pony... but for me if a style works for you why change it. My favorite singer on the show. If this show is staying true to its name then Pere is THE VOICE...he has a very theatrical/ dramatic style....one thing I love about pere's voice is the fact that its very soft and light but his voice still has a very solid base and depth to sustain those notes... lets not get started on his high notes.... abeg get out of here!!😂. Not my favorite performance of his but I enjoyed and loved it all the same

Deola has a great high register... to maintain a good tone at that pitch isn't easy. Her performance was so sweet and classic... wasn't too much but just enough. The best female singer on the show... she kind of reminds me of mercedes from glee. If Adeola works on her low register and powers through her belts even more my gosh it will be all over
