I watched the whole video and then went back and watched you play the concertino again while counting along as you had just explained. It fully clicked thank you.

It was hilarious waking up and seeing this video title. What a coincidence!
Just yesterday, in my clarinet lessons, I struggled a lot with the 2nd movement of the Weber Concerto No. 1 due to it‘s constant changes between triplets and dotted eight note + sixteenth note. The latter rhythm converted pretty quickly into a quarter triplet + eighth note triplet.
And I had practiced rhythm exercises like crazy during my first and second semester at university. 😂😂😂

Oh that's so funny! Yes, that 2nd mvt is so hard 😂 but so beautiful ❤️🎶

1&2&3& 1. This is definitely going to help. 5 min into your video sounded a bit like what I usually do. I’ve never consciously counted while actually playing. I count the rests so I know when to start playing again. I’m glad I’m now taking lessons with you. I’d like to fit this into our lessons if possible?
