This is a very healthy sounding idi. That clatter reminds me more of the 93 6.5 Detroit I had. It clattered just as much. Mechanical injection DB2 Was turned a little bit. Found out later after gaining some brains on diesel that it had dead compression. And then an injector or two shit out and I didn’t have the money.
If you're standing in front of the truck and looking at the engine, which way do you rotate the pump to advance the timing ? Left ( counter clockwise) or right ( clockwise ) ?
There's a technique to do that and you advance and all that stuff with the common something or another that hooks to the injection pump not sure what all that stuff called Mike Gigi does it Justin Anderson does it and they run race trucks out of
