kool. I've actually been experimenting with FL Studio and a truck load of samples a friend gave me, but of course for the synths I use Sylenth and NI FM8 Vst's with the Kontakt library.I really love how you can drop the drum samples into the pattern sequencer like old drum machines. Only problem is it only runs on Windows. I haven't had any issues with it tho on my BootCamp partition

@screendrem You started using after Apple bought it lol.
I was using before that, when it was cross-platform, now I use Ableton & Pro Tools.

@djlobb I started using it long after Apple bought it. I got Version 6 from a sound designer who was mentoring me because he already had version 7. I just got his old dongle but it was still great. I love Ableton for performances and for composing quickly. I can't afford to use Pro Tools (Unless it's LE which I refuse to do) so I hire this guy named Sean Ingoldsby to mix because his Pro Tools rig is amazing. I haven't found anything that sounds better then $50,000+ worth of Plug ins for PT.

Why is he wearing shades? It looks kinda dark there. Logic is a sweet DAW though, I've been using it since version 6. Don't overdo it is a good formula to go with.

"The moment you start overthinking it, it becomes problems" Exactly, its just music string a note and hit a beat, why has it become so commpliacted its unnecessary.
