21area21 last year they kicked my ass at the nasa tournament (I was 5023 at the time) and this year (as 3674r) they didn't do well at space city but they definitely came back at the space city 2.0 tournament. 3118b seems to be the better of the 3 teams tho(3118a,b,c)
+jaren mills Actually though, their fire-rate isn't high enough compared to the optimized single flywheel design. I'd say that's the real reason. And a general lack of speed too.
How did you score from different distances? the catapult always goes back the same distance so i don't see how you could make the distance the ball flies vary. i am from an ftc team and this design could be very useful in our game for this year
I like the catapult shooter. Much more consistent looking than the wheeled shooters that I've seen. I had no idea, granted I've never read the manual because I don't compete in Vex yet, that you can use pneumatics on Vex bots.
John Fogarty if u do, then u need 10 maximum motors for V4, and 6 maximum motirs for V5. You can only have 2 storage tanks with a preset maximum ammount of compressed air that can be stored in both. Also, there is a limit of the types of things that you can use with pneumatics in vex that are competiton legal.

well,their members have all split into teams 2335,3118,and 2344 but i cant say any of them are as good as what id expect from the old 118
