Tbh, props to BB. He went from getting solokilled on Fiora by Nuguri's Sejuani to smurfing for the whole series
Not sure the matchup anymore, and I think it was BB favored back then (the champ he had was favored). But as much as bb didn't do well at internationals, seju top back then was quite strong and missstepijg could lead to getting one shoot solo killed.

He did well but it wasnt smurfing. Your standards are kinda low if you think losing lane as a yasuo vs tf in game 3 or being out teamfought by a tf in game 1 and basically fairly even in tanks vs tanks as smurfing. Smurfing is caps in games 2 and 3, and faker in games 4 and 5.

Hans refused to kalista ult miky all game 1, refused to use sums to live ever, refused to buy armor pen when he was only attacking tanks. He def had a major underperformance.

Hans literally W'd minions mid fight, ran away from a mana less ahri. Chose to 1 v 1 K'Sante instead of positioning behind team to play front to back. Cleansed Ahri Q, to then get charmed. R's at Varus multiple times when Kalista would just ult the Varus away etc.........
BB probably played the best overall though Caps making leads consistently was incredible. Mikyx was doing a lot of weird things, for better and for worse. It's Yike and Hans that left a lot to be desired but for different reasons. Yike's pocket picks cost 2 games by making G2 play essentially 4v5 since Yike couldn't do anything. And Hans felt like he was getting worse game by game, the Kog'Maw also let T1 pick up pretty much every objective they wanted in the first 20 minutes, and in the last game his decision making in team fights made his near full build Jinx feel useless.
Wait. Yike smurfed this series. Only game 5 was kinda bad which is completly fine considering they played T1. So what do you mean? xD And the Kogmaw was just a mistake in draft (didnt pick Braum or Milio with it...IDK WHY YOU WOULD GO RENATA KOGMAW XDD) I could imagine that Hans is so used to Lane swaps cause of scrims that he wasnt rly comfortable playing lane bullys? Idk lets see what the Year and especially this MSI can bring

Hans Sama. Game 5 against the reigning world champions, T1. On the verge of a historic win for the west, you're playing an already accelerated hyper-carry in Jinx. That has got to be the dream game for any ADC, if ever there was a moment to step up the plate and carry, that was it and he didn't.
He played passive, he didn't push his advantage. He focused K'sante a lot in those team fights and never built an LDR. Even a bronze Jinx knows to do that.
I just don't understand it. I'm not gonna say he's the sole reason for the series loss, but I can't stand an ADC who doesn't have the killer instinct in the moment his team needs it most. He had to be the carry that game and he refused to be.
he was zoned out in every fight by the K'sante. K'sante hits. combo on him, and he is a goner anyways, so there wasn't a way he could have fought well. The backline wasn't good with the bel'veth not going in well and overall being useless.
its hard to play jinx when your 4 teammates all want to go in. if hans had a lulu/milio/ivern/janna etc he could have maybe played more up.
In hindsight someone like kaisa or twitch could have worked better maybe
@@jasonvolconaris3538yeah people don't seem to realize that this isn't zeri/jinx + yuumi/lulu meta anymore, that was when a fed jinx just hypercarries every teamfight, in current meta you aren't picking any support for her so she just gets one shot by any enemy carry or Ksante. Just look at psg vs fly game 1 jinx had an insane game turbo fed healing like 500 hp per auto but it doesn't matter senna presses e walks up and 2 shots you.
He had to think about ksante q3, ahri r charm, lee flash kick, varus r, while having bel+poppy+talyiah in his team that did very little in teamfights+bb on zac jumped on enemy backline in many fights leaving him without frontline. Watch the fights there is very little he can do. Also pd is giga important for jinx in that game, prob best item-build is maybe skip bt in hindsight and go krakek-pd-ie-ldr. Wanting Lifesteal vs that team is very understandable though. Ldr does not change the fights at all, his team was just too useless.
You are just saying stuff like "push the advantage" "fcous ksante" "killer-instinct" without actually refering to a specific moment in the game. You are cleary not good enough to actually understands what is happening in the game, just saying very overgeneralized stuff

You can flame Hans for not having a crazy standout performance but you then have to flame Caps for losing game 1 and Yike for losing game 5 and Mikyx for being invisible at the start of the series. This series should be celebrated as one of the great EU vs Korea series and not a finger pointing contest.

BB was a beast that series. I was skeptical after last year's worlds but the man is just a machine so far this season. Hope he keeps that up.
G2 would be unbelievably good if they had a hyper carry or clutch adc. Shame they don't

He could play better game 5 but they had ksante who makes every adc usseles. Idk still why he didnt build dominic for 3rd item when they struggled so much to kill enemy top.
I don't think Hans did anything agregious persay, he just didn't show the traits of a top player. The moments where he could've done much more, he needed to react instantly. This can be done, but he didn't do them... Not seriously inting but just didn't play like a top top level player. I don't watch LEC otherwise so I can't say much more.
I do feel like G5 Miky and Caps could've peeled for him

Miky's Game 1 and 2 openers were downright nasty but his Poppy play was hype as hell. Yike had a solid series but i do feel it was wrong to force in his Bel'Veth and its just too easy to highlight that in game 5. Caps was impressive for damn sure, he had some oopsies but many many more standout performances quite consistantly. BB what can you say, from very lackluster international performances to smurfing on eastern competitors demands recognition.
Hans though...as Caedrel said there were no redeeming highlight moments to elevate his overall performance and it was just lackluster in a meta dominated by drafting around ADC's it was just plain underwhelming.
Nah, the only blunder he did game 5 was not buying LDR, not plsying too passively, it's mega hard to play against T1s comp as Jinx without any peel (Everyone else on G2 was diving), that being said, that's why not buying LDR is mega int, because you can't push through K'sante, if Jinx kills K'sante the tf is over
So him not flashing or using Kalista R to save Mickey is because of the matchup?
Even with ldr with no pd he don't have the DPS for K'sante
I agree he didn’t stand out but he did what he was supposed to… until it was his time to carry in game 5 but unfortunate incident with ldr. But oh well. He is still really good. He can learn from it

Did you watch dom's take on na and western teams in general? We are never happy with small wins throughout the game we extended wining plays too much we end up losing them, that's pretty much the case in the last 3-4 years
Yes that is true but this series is winnable if one player uses his abilities and summoner spells.

Hans had a really unfortunate showing but I still want to see him if he can prove himself against PSG and TES, if you watch G2 we both know Hans can play aggressive and something was up with him the whole day.
BB is solid as always, people liked to shit on him as the biggest weakpoint of G2, very glad to see him be the strongest point of G2 so far!
If that game 1 havent been thrown out of the window it could've been a 3-0 against one of- if not the best team of the world right now.

Hans got carried when g2 won and when it was his turn to clutch for his team didnt have it in him he played the whole series as if he was in minute 10 of game 1

I like G2 but I've been a Hans hate watcher for a while. He's not a player that'll ever make the difference. If the team is winning he looks impressive, but as soon as the team is struggling you can clearly see he's not a smart player. Not trying to call him dumb but definitely a selfish/KDA player.
He used to be that kind of player in the past but he just doesnt have it in him anymore

Looking at these comments honestly gives me cancer. This is why I stray away from the League community. Toxic inside and outside of the game. Hans has one mid series, and one bad game, where he had Ksante and Faker’s Ahri to worry about, and look at these comments. It’s disgusting. Truly plastic fans. Get hype in their wins and toxic in their losses.
I know it’s popular to hate on players that just lost but in this case I have felt this way for years. I don’t think hans is as good as everyone says. I’m sure I’m wrong on some accounts but man I’ve never once been impressed by hans. So many times I’ve seen him not use flash. As an adc at his level it’s disappointing. I don’t mind giving players the benefit of the doubt but he hasn’t changed in years. To be fair I don’t watch everyone of his games. He’s really the only player in the world that I wonder why do people think he’s good. I’m open to change my mind by any reasonable and thought out replies.

Hans really shouldn't be receiving so much hate. The teamfights were lost as a team. All of them could have played much better, and lets be honest in game 5, Zac, Poppy, Taliyah should have had way more impact in teamfights versus Ksante Ahri and Leesin. T1 just outclassed them overall. G2 played great and not any individuals fault. In no world could hans have had more impact Ahri Leesin were diving him every fight and if not him then caps or yike.

Hans is getting exposed. He hardly ever carried for G2 which is crazy for an ADC and is outshone even by others in the domestic league. He’s too scared and doesn’t have that carry factor. The rest played well for the most part, especially BB, he really stepped up.
