@@taylorgontkovic4543 My mom always used to say that everyone has a twin somewhere in the world. I heard for years and years. I thought what an interesting idea. Since I've had my eyes open to another theory, I don't think it's such a great idea anymore.

well done the actor is great he can go from norm to insane creepy with facial expressions .seeming to be 2 different beings with ease and believable .would like to see this tale expand thank you for sharing

Some clever ideas here, well executed, nice intercutting and i love when he is being chased, his evil self/doppelganger follows him as a reflection in the water, very unsettling piece and some creepy-ass woods too, excellent location-finding, all in all an impressive short film !
Parts were creepy, but when he grabbed the mirror ... why didn't he destroy it .

This was pretty good I can definitely see how this great film won so many awards the actor the crew all did a great job the ending creeper me out a little movies where people are trapped in mirrors or paintings or t.v sets in this case mirrors always creep me out but they are fun to watch horror has always had superior special effects more than non genre films IMO this film is no different loved this one in love with this film

If I find a mirror in the lake, particularly if it was not there a minute before, I am playing some impromptu ultimate frisbee.
The true horror is that he went through all that and never caught any fish.
The Reflection of him really think he would die when he try to suffocate himself with a tiny thread 😂😂😂 only if you watch closely and seriously with your headphones the music and the Voices from behind like Growling makes u scare but seriously there's nothing to scare about inthis horror short movie there's no Ghost no spirit no grudge no dead bodies just himself having a bad dream while trying to catch a fish.. But still I enjoyed watching it and we need more videos like this keep up the Good work...

In some spiritual/religious beliefs mirrors are considered to be "gateways" to other dimensions or realities. There are other reasons as well that I just can't remember right now. I'm sure Google which furnish you with all of the answers.
I loved this. The sound design, the monotone colors, it all left me with a “wtf did I just watch” feeling.

Brilliant film, original ideas, but with a gothic edge. The cold cast to the film worked superbly well, and set the mood: immediately something was 'off' about the situation here. Pure craftsmanship on every front, you are a talented team:)

#1 They are considered a portal to the unliving and or ghost's
#2 well it's a fact but If you stare long enough into one your mind will start playing tricks on you 😊...... So this one is a good one

The true horror in this was how this guy learned how to fish...
The facial expressions and weird mumbling were great. It reminded me a ton of the guy from Inland Empire who puts a curse on the woman with the screwdriver. The weird finger thing he does with the crazy faces and mumbling. Love it.
A lot of symbolism in this movie. The music made it creepy and the few lines added the suspense. Well done

I'd end it with the main character coughing up water as soon as the bad version threw the mirror into the lake. Very good and the last mirror shot was clever.

I like how this movie scaring psychologically,here is not any jumpscares with demons,its just everyone have their bad side and sometimes it can take over you,and thats what really scary,also actor play is great,especially when he moved only one eye,it was pretty uncanny

Simply, one of the best short films I've ever seen. It made it into my top 10 favorites.
Even more so because it is a film that is much more in what is happening with the character than in the dialogues.

It was a modern play on the story of Narcisis looking into Echo Lake and seeing his Reflection...than his Decent into Madness surrounded by Mirrors, more of him him him and Self Reflection...oui?
