Yeah. 😁. We use a blue ice cream container. All you gotta do is walk out the back with that in your hand and they all come running. They learn very quickly and are quite smart birds.

We have a chicken tractor that we move around the yard about every day. When I have a bit of space where I need to remove the sod, say where I’m planting corn, I leave them there a bit longer and they do a bit of the hard work for me.

Always need new way to make good soil. With 29 chickens, they produced several hundred pounds of manure mixed with straw. Last summer, I tried composting lots of materials and was successful. It required work, but the chickens produced much more and better stuff. Hope you are well...

Here in Melbourne we can now put our food scraps in with the green waste. Makes life easy for everyone.
