I'm starting finishing touches, so excited. I must say though, this isn't a beginner-friendly tutorial because of the lack of detail in your explanations BUT fortunately coming back to the video throughout crocheting helped. Beautiful pattern, I'm getting ready for Spring! Love from South Africa 🇿🇦❤️
As a very experienced crocheter I'm happy to find a quick video that gets to the point and doesn't explain every single stitch! I watched it and am excited to startI love this top and I'm making a purple ombre one tomorrow! ❤ but I can imagine when I was starting I would've been completely lost as well just a pointer to repeat the repeat a few times not jump straight into it as some arent as experienced
Lmk how it turns out. Haha yeah, this video is a prime example of "you can't please everyone". Somehow, I can never do enough even with a written pattern lol

Thank you for this great video tutorial! I made one in white and teal. One thing I noticed with the border - when I did the three DC then ch 1, the sides had a small gap. I undid the border and did three DC, no ch 1, and the gap is gone. :) I am going to make more of these - thank you again!
i find the tutorial easy to follow. It may not be mentioned in the video but there are instructions written. So one really needs to pause and pay attention. I made this perfectly at 1st attempt.. thank you very much for partaking ur knowledge 💗
Thank you for this lovely top pattern. I was confused at first too, you suddenly jumped from 4 rows to 20 rows. Then I noticed at 6:27 the written instructions: "Repeat these 4 Rows Four more times. It was easily missed because the writing was not standing out enough. I will make this top but using a multicoloured yarn

Hey lovely! I know this is from two years ago and you've probably learned this already, but if you count your chains at the start of the row as your first stitch and crochet into the second stitch from your chain instead, you'll get smoother sides

This is a lovely Top and tutorial but not beginner friendly . Will revisit when im more experienced. ( you lost me after the V body of the Top, or should I say I lost you) I was not bothered you skipped to the lower part it was a repeat, but you did it so fast did not get where the dicreases went.

Looks like 5 repeats of the top portion and 4 repeats on each side for the decrease portion.

Materials? What do you mean by stuff?
I would start off with 2 skeins of the colors you desire. Keep adding rows until you reach the desired look. This way you can make it fit your body.

Hi, I started to watch this and the video got as far as row 5 in the cream and then suddenly jumped to almost the end where you had finished the front and one side? Have you another video that shows it all please?

Damn, I’m so sad. I made the top (definitely possible with just the info in the video), with a similar yarn but it is way too big😢 Gonna try and see if I can recreate it smaller, it’s such a cute design🥲

Wonderful design and easy to make but definitely not flat chested friendly. I've tried numerous different ways and shapes and it just doesn't sit well in the Tata area. My relatives now have cute tops for summer at least lol still love this pattern though.

Perhaps "from start to finish" isnt the best description 🤔, got a bit confused toward the end, best to watch fully through before starting

Details on decreasing the bottom halves so that they taper on both sides were left out but the top is very pretty.

After the first 2rows of single crochet I didn't see how your work got so big

This was fairly easy... to begin with. But as it went on, I started thinking WTH?? Frogged it more times than I care to think, but no go. It now sits in the bottom of a bag somewhere. *sigh*
P.S. I have been crocheting for almost 50 yrs. now, so if I was confused... 😐

How many rows to finish the top you did
What size is this top? And how do you adjust to create a larger size?
I believe this is a Small to Medium Size. If you want to make it bigger you need to keep going until your desired length, That's how I do it. :)

Hey Tonya sorry for the late reply I was away getting married and still doing some reno. This is a size small. To get a larger size, I would increase the starting amount by 2 for each size so for the medium you'll Ch 25, Large 27 then continue to increase for 2 extra rows for medium and 4 extra rows for large.
