People's say "He's 24" so what about Davin Haney (23), Shakur Stevenson (24), Jaron Ennis (24), Vergil Ortiz (24). Berlanga isn't on these boxer's level. Clearly

Some people were saying Berlanga would beat the likes of GGG,Canelo etc.
There is levels to do this.
Out of his prime GGG made easy work of Rolls and brutally knocked him out unconcious.
And Berlanga just got schooled by Rolls.
This just shows even at this age how good GGG is compared to these young "supposed" to be top prospects.
Good learning fight for Berlanga, Roll's showed you can't just build up a record of KO'ing everyone early, there's levels and these are the type of fights a young up coming fighter needs to develop and realise not to rely only on power.

Everyone who’s saying Berlanga is young and needs more experience needs to realize that he’s 24 years old and been fighting for 6 years. If he hasn’t learn enough by now, he never will.

Most greats have struggled with mediocre opponents in their career. He may go on to do great things or he may never fulfil his potential. This fight is no indication which of those it will be.

@Terry O'Conman Ve la pelea otra vez, y fijate quien dio los punos contundentes. Rolls en el round 7 fue donde peleo de verdad. Lo demas era Jabs y hecharse hacia atras. Berlanga fallo que lo tenia en las cuerdas varias veces y no tiro combinaciones. Pero Rolls no gano la pelea. Los jueces la vieron unanime por algo..
Berlanga claramente ganó los primeros 4 rounds y los últimos 2.
GGG kills Edgar for sure and Rolls won this fight, hands down . Anyway don't forget Edgar has suffered a very bad injury ... let's see the next fight but he has to chose the next opponent very carefully ... a big dog can hurts him definitely ...

Remember - GGG did away with rolls easily. There is a huge strength and power difference between Berlanga and high level fighters. I don't see where Berlanga fits in?

En cambio Berlanga Lucio una máquina hasta llegar a 16 , 16. Apenas subieron el Nivel no hay una sola pelea que se pueda Decir que a lucido como un futuro campeón ..
A, Berlanga con el tiempo lo usarán de escalón para subir a futuros Boxeadores...
Lo mismo que le esperaba a Verdejo hantes de caer en la cárcel . Que ya no tenía quijada y lo iban a usar para como escalón con los futuros jóvenes que vinieran subiendo y que prometieran mucho en el Boxeo.

Rolls just showed the blueprints to beat this guy. Keep moving, keep popping and don't let him set. EB was terrible, following Rolls around the ring/not cutting it off, flat footed, looking for 1 big punch. This is why you can't rely on just power alone.
Edgar is stronger. Steve did not deliver punches strong enough to daze Edgar, but he gathered more points.
Whoever fight Edgar next, if his arm is as long, can give Edgar problem by quick straight punches.🎉🎉🎉.

Edgar "Big Daddy" Berlanga was lucky to get this decision.
I'll accept the first judges card, it was close enough fight, but 97-93 was mental. Berlanga seems a bit of a hype job to me. May have heavy hands, but he is ponderous with his feet on teh way in and moves into range without throwing anything way too often. Bit taking time off boxing so this was first fight of his I've watched, so maybe I picked a bad one to watch.
Berlanga is officially another hypejob. No way did he win this fight. His next step up fight, he's getting the Baranchyc (vs Zepeda) treatment.
