Hi, you can just write the date you are submitting your application and your location, for instance Accra at the place section.

Hi sist, you such a full vibe❤❤. Pls was trying to book for Finland Schengen appointment via Denmark ghana. When was filling the forms, at the column to choose my destination, it shows DENMARK, there is no option to choose Finland. Pls what do i do🙏🙏. Am kan of confused

For Finland appointment booking you have to send your request via email to info.finlandrpiran@vfshelpline.com.
Your name will be added to queue list on receipt of the email. Appointment times are given to applicants in contacting order. You will receive an Appointment Confirmation Letter when they have available time slot for you.
When sending a request for appointment, include all the below information in the message.
Applicant first name:
Applicant last name:
Email address:
Mobile number with country code:
Date of Birth: DD/MM/YYYY
Nationality:
Online or Paper application:
Passport No:
Passport issue date:
Passport expiry date:
I will advise you to call the vfs Denmark application center to make sure this rules are still intact.

@nurudeenwayma3754 You can choose as many destinations as you want as long as you can prove and give a reasonable explanation why you want to visit each destination.

Hi Anyas, The funds you need for your Schengen visa change depending on the country you want to visit.
When applying for a Denmark Schengen visa from Ghana, you must have a minimum of DKK 350.00 equivalent to GHS 550.00 per day to spend while you stay in the country.
And if you are staying in a hotel, the amount is EUR 68.00 that’s DKK 500.00 equivalent to GHS 800.00, of course depending on the exchange rate. Hope this helps ☺️

My concern is about main destination, Denmark and other state destination Sweden and shenghen country you will inter first Netherlands.
I’m a bit confused 🤔 what do you mean ? For example I am applying for Denmark short stay visa 14 days and the purpose of my trip is annual leave and I would like to visit Sweden as well.
So what will be my answer in that case for the current travel plan and can I choose the multiple entry?

Hi Lily, it means that, the Netherlands is your first point of entry into the Schengen area because that’s where you will transit before you get to Denmark or Sweden as your final destination since theres no direct flight from your origin to your destination.
If you get Schengen visa to Denmark, then you are allowed to travel to any of the Schengen countries but remember to state on your cover letter any future plans of travel you intend to do because that will give them the idea of your travel plans and that will determines wether you will be granted single entry or multiple entry base on the information you provided.

Hi. Yes. I believe all Schengen Visa Application Form are the same. However, that you always have to apply at the consulate of the country which is your primary destination.

Hi, in that case you will choose Multi-City instead of One away or Return Trip before you select the dates.

This is a tourist visa...so how do I extend my stay
Hi, as a general rule you can not extend a Schengen Visa during your trip, unless in some circumstances.You can only extend a short-stay Schengen visa in emergencies, for example if you become ill. Strict conditions apply.
If you want to extend your trip you will have to exit the Schengen Area and apply for a new visa to return and continue your visit.
And in some cases, the visa can only be extended if you have stayed less than 90 days in the Schengen area, in the course of the past 180 days, and if your current visa is not expired.

Iam planning to travel from Canada to Germany to meet my fiancé and then we both travel to Denmark to register our marriage its gonna take less than a week...and after our marriage registration we return to Germany and after the 90 days I will return to canada ..I hold canadian refugee travel document and its allows me to travel visa free 90 days only to Germany ..for Denmark I will need to apply for tourist visa...what should I enter in the main&other destination and the purpose of travel? and is it OK not to provide flight reservation because the marriage court in Denmark needs a visa first and then they give me a marriage appointment can I just include a letter to describe my situation ?

Hi, at this point I assume your finance is a Danish citizen? The purpose of your travel is to register your marriage in Denmark as you have already stated in your comment. So that should be your main purpose.
It’s advisable to include your flight reservation as that will enable the embassy to know your intended dates of travel.
I will strongly recommend that, you write a letter to attached your other relevant documents to explain your travel or situation to give the embassy the idea of what your travel is about. Hope this helps.
You can also contact the Danish embassy directly for any relevant inquiries you want to make sure there’s no mistake anywhere 😉
@patriciabredtoft thank you so much for your reply..my fiancé is an Iraqi citizen he has work permit in Germany we were supposed to do the civil marriage in Germany but it takes too long time process and I only have 90 days 🥲 so that why we decided to get married in Denmark..the plan is I travel to Germany to meet him and then we together travel to Denmark to tonder municipality to get married

Please I was trying to get travel insurance from Alliance and I was told it’s 700 Cedis for 90 day but I learnt I need to have up to 30000euros in my insurance
Hi, Insuarance company’s do charge differently from one company to another but the differences are not so much I think.
Your insurance should Guarantees a coverage of up to 30.000 euros in conformity with the European directive and should cover all countries part of the Schengen area. That’s the requirement for the Schengen visa. So I’m sure when you buy the insurance it automatically covers that, but you can also find out from the insurance company. Normally you will be given a document that shows the coverage after payment.

Hi Cilia, if your application has already been submitted, then there’s nothing you can do. Perhaps you can try to contact the embassy and hear if something can be done.
