"It is an adventure searching for the most precious items to Malaysians, and from that relatable premise of Malaysians out for food-hunting, our heartwarming tale was born and became so much more; Ali and Aishah both on their life journey to reach their aspirations. It is grounded with the theme of choices, a focus on family and aspirations with a fictional traditional village setting. To make it a truly Malaysian night we enrich our show with some of our beautiful culture like favourite mythical characters from local stories, the most Malaysian names given to our characters, the childhood riddles of teka-teki, traditional dances and the incorporation of Malaysian ideas and folk tunes into our music. In other words, just like the nasi lemak itself, our show encompasses the very different flavours that come together bombarding your taste buds, creating something even greater and memorable."
