    I was born (early 80s) and for the most part raised in a full Gora blue collar -> benefits class area. One of the first things I was called, on the first day of school was Pa_i. I got in a punchup by the end of the day. They tried their level best to make me feel inferior, that I should look up to the Gora, they nearly suceeded. At 10 (early 90s) my parents sent me to Pakistan. They had many reasons, crime, drugs in society, etc...
    When I got to Pakistan I didn't feel that racism. It was hard, no doubt. I took a while to adjust. BUT NO RACISM, towards me. No electricity between 9pm and 10 but thats a different story. I didn't realise at the time but I grew confident, bold, and passionate about being a Muslim and a Pakistani (without the evils of Nationalism). Why would I want my children to grow up in the UK? To feel inferior. No thank you, my children can rise to whatever peak they desire with hard work in Pakistan, INSHA'ALLAH. They don't need to feel lessor. They don't need to fight just to be equal, to get a seat at the table.
    To those who live in areas of the UK where there are a lot of Asians or Arabs. You will not have faced the discrimination at the level you face in Gora areas. So while you don't face as much discrimination, you are still treated as second class citizens. The UK was not made for us, Pakistan is. But scores of people run from it, causing a brain and labour drain on our economy. But the west only needs you for the labour, or research, or medical know-how, or running their take aways or cabs. Once that need ends. They wont need you anymore.

      Just move to an Arab country like UAE or KSA, where you will be treated like 3rd class citizens, thank Goras for treating you 2nd class citizens.

      Agreed. Those who have grown up in Asian areas have idealised vision of Goras. You need to work and live with the Goras to understand you will not be accepted as equal. I think the lack of action from the government from Palestinian protests has given people a bit of a wake up call.

    JazakAllah Khair for your videos and insights, I think one of the issues with a certain mentality is if I was to do a certain thing in my life it will be because of x y z reason so if someone else does that thing it can only be for x y z reason. Also saduri which is made in Pakistan is excellent for coughs.

    With the cafe bit I understand cos right now in uk I mainly support small businesses or go to asian owned cafes. Everything is so expensive in the uk that I haven’t had a coffee outside in ages, mainly cos of boycotting and im not willing to pay £4 for a drink. But i have herd things have gone up in price especially in bangladesh. Not sure how prices are in pakistan but i would rather be back home not having to worry about paying stupid bills like tv licence. It’s ridiculous how much british people pay. Just wanted to know if you and sister Myra ever had thoughts on coming back to uk?

    What made you choose Pakistan over Turkey?

  • @krastycz1810
    @krastycz1810 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    As you moved to Pakistan and if you decide to stay there permanently, would you be eligible for a UK pension and will you still be eligible for NHS care? Did you ever consider maybe wrking six months or more per year in the UK and then coming to Pakistan and then shifting mainly to Pakistan after you retire and then living comfortable with a UK pension?

    • @MyBritishPakistaniLife

      This might have to be answered in a vlog

    • @kaz4845
      @kaz4845 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You will need 35 years NI contributions for pension at the higher rate, though can get the standard rate anyway.
      Though lots of us will be dead before we can claim if they keep raising the age limit

    • @MyBritishPakistaniLife
      @MyBritishPakistaniLife  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You need a UK address to use the NHS

    • @ff-mi6zc
      @ff-mi6zc 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nobody will get pension, even if you have worked 35 years all life , do you not read news ? And with that state pension you will have left 6 pounds for to buy food, read about a 67 years old man , British in uk, he said he have to work as state pension is so low that only 6 pounds left for food amd basics and he can't survive on 6 pounds after he paid rent and electric, pension days are gone, maybe they will stop also state pension, who knows ? That state pension in uk won't cover the cost of living in uk and most pensions can't live in abroad like Pakistan for more than 2 months, they stop,

    • @kaz4845
      @kaz4845 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ff-mi6zc , you are saying things that are not accurate. Current full pension pays £883 per month.
      If a person owns their own home, you can live on that just on essentials.
      It's where a person has other expenses, like mortgage or loans or other costs that will impact how much they have for food.

      Yes I agree. Some people really push their religious beliefs onto others. The bottom line is, there is no compulsion in our deen. As a Muslim our deen is enough for us, but we are not perfect. I pray we become steadfast on our beautiful religion and unite for the sake of the ummah. Just look at Gaza right now :-(

    Hi there the thing is even when the was no high living cost in west and every one was earning good and saving even in those times I never liked Western countries to live in , as there so much peace I felt in my own country and being happy and content and feeling like being home and at pace , and these you can never ever feel in western countries no matter how much money you got, how rich you are and successful you are , as there is always negative vibes and miserable people there and miserable culture and is feeling of being oppressed and depressed and every one there is so much divided and on pulling each other down, and mind you have you seen any Asian guys in sports ? Like in main football teams ? Most people in western countries are living there for money, it is the greediness most of it, what else is it ? Weather is horrible and children born there gets changed personalities, and those traps are like huge, the morgage house trap is worse now, everything is 1000 times worse now there, medical system is a failure and shit, the prescription medicines are all bad quality, they are not good salts in them , they get them from china and the cheapest quality and then repack them in uk packaging with uk leaflets in them, they just screwing out of you every money you earn and you left in a poor state and frustrated,
