In my opinion, the bloody apron scene might be to show how people feed negative things to others. She's pouring out her heart into her music (if you look closely, and watch the mv filming, you'll see that most of the "food" is actually record tapes, cds, wires, etc.), but the people are only judging the music by how it looks, instead of actually having a taste/listen. They're poking at the stuff she gives them, and they're rejecting it without trying it, which is what a lot of people do. (and also, the pencils pointed at her are supposed to signify the hate she gets)
