He makes an adorable boy with that face mold and wig. I have the same wig (I believe) in a dark red and I put it on a MG facemold doll. I think she looks adorable in it. I also have a similar wig, but much more fuller than this version on my Kaya boy doll. These wigs are super tight and a bear to get on so they stay on!
That is the cutest doll ever! I'm biased because Corinne is my first AG doll, but her face mold is the best one in my opinion. If you don't have a name yet, perhaps Aspen might work?
The Corinne mold is SO unique in the AG line. I confess I think it's inconvenient that her eye sockets are a bit larger than other AG dolls because it makes it harder to do eye swaps with AG eyes and I know a lot of customizers prefer to use AG eyes only. But she is beautiful regardless (and so is this new one)!
Corinne is such a nice doll to customize. My custom Corinne has a Zazou bob with bangs and they look so good on her. I hope we get more Corinne mold TMs in the future!
They are soooooo cute! They look awesome in that outfit, too. I someday really want to have a doll to do wig swaps and stuff on, but it's mostly classic molds that are available for relatively cheap on the secondhand market (and I think I'd want to try first on a TLC doll), and I really think hard before adding more classic molds to my collection. Corinne's face mold works so well for this, though- thank you for sharing!
He is adorable! Kirsten at Oh Deer Custom Dolls has made several boys out of Corinnes and I think they make the cutest boys. If you go to her website and search in her Gallery of sold dolls and search by the face mold, you'll see a bunch. Her website is a great place to get wig ideas and name ideas too. :) I love your painter's tape idea for the head. Brilliant! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks - agreed. I'd like AG to use different eyebrows on that mold. IDK why AG is like, "these are the eyebrows we're going to use on all Corinne mold dolls... and these are the brows we're going to use on all our new Joss mold dolls... and here are our new Josefina mold eyebrows." Like, why do the brows get assigned to a face mold lately?
they turned out so cute oh my goodness! i’ve been thinking about making a boy corinne custom if i can ever get my hands on a corinne for a good price and this might have sold me on that idea even more lol

It's fun. I don't do full face-ups but I'm comfortable with basics like wigs, freckles, lashes, eyes, ear piercing, lip gloss and some light color restoration.
I feel like I haven't seen many boy dolls made with the new face molds. I love how it turned out and now I'm curious to see what a boy doll with the Claudie face mold would look like.
I put this exact same wig on a Claudie mold once. Didn't remove her eyelashes because but it was enough to give me a sense that the Claudie mold would make a great customized boy.
TOTALLY LOVE the new boy doll. Maybe I'll do the same with my Corrine. Never really got into her as is. What about Jordan, Dylan, Randy, James (Meg of Bug's Dolls has a girl doll named James),or Cody (Codi)?
They look like a Kai to me! They are cute. I actually prefer custom “boy” dolls for my collection although I like that AG sells them, too. Someday I want a custom Jess boy if I find one with a trashed wig.
I like Kai. I also like most of the boy dolls AG has made, but I'm definitely open to creating more options than they offer. I feel like Classic molds are most commonly customized to be boys but Josefina and Joss molds work really well, too.
The reason the eyelashes came off so easily may be because you are using pure acetone. Not all nail polished removal liquids are 100% acetone, in fact some have no acetone. Really enjoyed the wig tape hack. What a fun video..thank you so much for sharing.
