First of all, I loved this interview because of how easy it was to consume and flow with. This is my first time hearing Judah Smith speak in any format, and I can really feel his passion for the Lord. Also been a fan of MPJ for a minute, and I think this platform is awesome and I pray the Lord be with him in all areas of his life.
[Ref. 23:00 -25:00] However, I do think that there is a clear distinction between persuading people to live righteously before they have had an encounter with Jesus, and your own personal walk with the Lord in seeking out transformation via the Holy Spirit. I believe it's a balance of really knowing who you are in Christ, as in, being the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus, and walking in obedience of the Word. As it says in Romans 10:17, "Faith comes from hearing, hearing from the Word of God." I believe it is important to pray, worship and read the Word daily if possible, in order to experience the best results of living in Gods will.
Regardless, God bless anybody reading this. May the shalom of the Lord be with you today and everyday.
