Your dad was right; we are FANS of you!! I adore your dad. You and your family are such a big part of his life. His sweatshirt said it all. Nobody goes through cancer alone in this family. I take a deep breath every time you provide updates since I too want them all to reflect that this cancer is leaving your body. You are our friend, Jenny, and we love you.
Wendys right jen, we all love you. I'm so happy you got to go get your son! I'm terminal with no chance of survival now so I COMPLETELY understand that! I'm praying for you jen!🙏
I’ll always remember Jenny because she’s was so strong and inspiring and genuine with her true feelings. I’m so inspired by you as Well because my hubby is in remission from non hodkins lymphoma and the support you gave Jenny and gave and give your children is awesome. You’re stronger than you probably feel some days. I always do my best to be my husband’s safe place to talk about his cancer and to keep good attitude and talk about the ugly things about cancer. We were so connected emotionally when he had his cancer treatments and it made us stronger and appreciate life so much more❤ Loads of Love & Prayers from Gigi in SW FL. 🙏🏼💕🙏🏼🙏🏼💕
It is so gratifying seeing your dad taking you to the hospital for scans and treatment. He and Kyle seem to be exemplary men. I too have a husband and father who look after me. I became ill in 2002 with blood clotting disorders, bacterial staph in my bloodstream, ecoli, and several autoimmune diseases which brought me very close to death and caused me to be in the hospital for several months of the year in 2002 thru 2005 and periodically since then. I was 38 years old when I first fell so ill. I had 2 small children, ages 6 and 11 who needed my husband at home to care for them. We lived about 3,500 - 4,000 miles from any other family. When my mom and dad got the call about me, they didn't hesitate. They jumped on a plane and were by my side within a couple of days. My mom stayed with the kids, so my husband could work. But my dad, came to the hospital and stayed with me until they sent me home. He's a tall, fairly large man (6'4"), and he slept on a terribly hard, unforgiving fold down hospital couch. He helped me to the bathroom, put wet cloths on my head to ease my fever and pain, read to me when I felt like it, prayed for me, and just made me feel so much safer. He ran interference with the doctors and nurses, making sure he took notes of all the doctors said. When I got home, my mom took care of me like I was her little girl again. She cooked special food trying to get me to eat. She made tea and poltices for pain. And they took me to my appts and advocated for when I needed meds, etc. I don't know if I would have gotten thru it all without them.
Mary, my heart breaks for you and sings for you and your family. What a horrible, medical life experience and a loving, lovely family experience. I pray that you are well and enjoying life with family and friends ❤️
Hi Jenny, my husband and I used to get styes in our eyes and the ophthalmologist recommended washing our eyelids with Johnson’s baby shampoo. He said to put the shampoo on a Q-tip or a round cotton pad with a little warm water and to gently scrub the area. If it gets in your eye it doesn’t sting. It really seemed to help keep the styes from developing into large painful whiteheads. Also, using a maxi pad to save your seat needs to go viral!
when we could meet together outside after Covid. I had a sore eye and had forgotten my friend had been had been an ophthalmologist - known her for 50 yrs! - She said the same but you could dilute baby Johnsons baby shampoo if you had trouble tolerating. I keep getting blocked hair follicle and should do it regularly :)if only I did !
I just had cataract surgery and they told me to buy these pads to clean my eyelids twice a day leading up to surgery. They sell them in a box of like 20 in the pharmacy- no Rx required.
@@barbaravyse660 It’s possible to cut the pads a bit smaller to economise. I spray my eyes with colloidal silver which cleans the lids etc. and find it better than the pads. It deals with any infection and doesn’t sting. I gently massage the lids before using preservative free eye drops .
Good idea to try the Baby Shampoo. I worked in the Ophthalmology office setting for a long time, and if that doesn’t help, you might consider a visit to an Ophthalmologist, they have other medicines such as ointment or drops you could try (as long as they don’t interfere with your other meds) also are you allowed to take any ibuprofen for your cramps? That was a godsend for me when ibuprofen came out, really stopped the cramps. I love the Mandelorian! I don’t have Disney but watched the first two seasons in Idaho with my grandkids, and then will catch up with the 3rd season at my sister’s home in AZ when I visit in April, can’t wait! 😊

I just cried and cried Jenny what a glorious precious moment that so many of us take for granted the urgent rush to school. I’m 62 and you bought all those beautiful unseen mother moments back to me thank you Jenny. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Jenny, your Dad is awesome! My Dad brought me to 28 radiation treatments back in 2009. I really appreciated my Dad taking me to my radiation appointments. You Dad is a gem❤️ So glad your CT scan went well☘️
I drove my dad to 28 straight days of radiation for Esophageal cancer. We drove 40 miles one way. I would not of wanted it any other way. Love to you Jenny girl❤️

You're such a sweet, loving, understanding and wonderful Mamma - I wish all kids had a Mom that loves them like you love yours. So glad you didn't have all the pain during the scan. Praying for your results.

I am so glad to hear you having to lay flat was not as painful as it used to be! Hopefully that means cancer is going away and the fluid is not building up! Thank you so much for updating us on what is going on. Hardly a day goes by without me thinking and praying about you!!
You have a beautiful family and a beautiful heart, thanks for sharing your journey. Truly inspiring , I am a much older 3rd stage breast cancer survivor. Praying for you and astounded by your strength and honesty.
Jenny we love you and your whole family. I appreciate the fact that you are so open with us on this personal life journey. My husband who is also fighting cancer doesn't open up very much about his feelings....and when you speak on the the anxiety before every scan or drs appt it helps me understand my husband a little bit better. Yaaay: a less painful scan. So flattering to hear you refer to us as friends, but dad was right. I'm A FAN of the whole crew. That mamabear moment explains one of the many reasons. No clots and cramps increase the likelihood it's a regular post ovulatory period. My sister had the same experience when steroid weight started coming off during treatment. Praying for good scan results. You are loved & admired Jenny.
I am sorry you are having a hard time with your period. My grandmother always used a home remedy for terrible menstrual cramps ( I used to pass out from the blood loss) and have terrible pain. Essentially she would warm up salt (table salt) in a frying pan until it was super hot, then wrap it in dish cloths (clean ones). The salt would hold the hEat for more than 4 hours. We would place the salt in the dish cloth on my abdomen and because the heat radiated in a consistent fashion and I could shape the cloth to fit comfortably on my lower abdomen it really helped with the pain. It was much better than an electrical pad. It won’t obviously help with the bleeding, but it did help with the shooting pains and terrible lower back pains I used to get. It at least meant I could sleep without pain.
My Mother would take a clean white sock fill it with table salt tie a knot at the top so us kids would NOT spill the salt everywhere... lol Oh yes heat the sock in a cast iron skillet till it is too hot to hold, rap it in a hand towel EXCELLENT for ear aches, muscle aches and pains…
@@mytoys8572 that makes sense as well. There are a variety of topical oils that can work as well, but since they are under the classification of alternative medicine I don’t want to mention any specific type because your oncology team should be consulted first. But you could ask your Nurse practitioner or oncology pharmacist as they may have some suggestions as well. They just help with the pain, not the underlying cause of the bleeding.
Dear Jenny, what a wonderful family you have! You make me a better person by watching you. Even though I’m 72 I Have so much to learn from your kindness and gratefulness. My daughter lives with me and sometimes I’m not as grateful as I should be. Thank you. Aloha

Your scarf is beautiful and looks so good on you! What a great gift! Fingers crossed for good scan results and so glad you were well enough to pick up your son when he needed you....I don't think kids ever forget those special moments!
Bless your heart Jenn. I just said a special prayer for you sweetie, and I believe with all that Iam that God is touching you right now and healing you, stopping the cramps and heavy bleeding. So good to see you and your Dad,sister, kiddos enjoying breakfast together. Memories and moments to cherish. Love and prayers to you Jenn and family.
Still binge watching because I'm a new sub. I hate to see anyone in pain. My mother n law and father n law along with my aunt passed of cancer. So I know the signs too look for and I new her time was coming, I was just quiet. Prayers.
Jenny, I am so happy you are able to lay down without discomfort. Sometimes you just have to experiment with different pain management to get just the right regime. I could see it in you countenance how much you love being a mom. Those Moments are sooo very special. I know your son won't forget ever that his mom is there. Sooo sweet. Menstrual cramps are not pleasant but it sounds like regular period cramps. Praying it is. I love your dad. He's so awesome. Love your family and love you Jenny!💞🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
HI Jenny. How wonderful that you and your family spent time together with breakfast and a movie later. Glad your CT scan went easier on you. So glad the day went well. Loved the breakfast with your family. What a lovely bunch you are. Hope the bleeding levels out. Despite all this you seem to have a bit more energy than recently. I hope that lasts for you. 🙏🏼
Jenny, you are such a fantastic mom. I am so glad you got this done that was on your bucket list ❤ You and your sweet family are always in my thoughts and prayers 🙏❤

It's such a comfort to me when l can watch your video Jenny. You talk to us so easily that l feel like we are good friends who van tell each other anything. You have such a close family to help you get through this battle you are fighting. I believe that it's a good sign that you can lay flat, it means that the clinical trial is working.
